I still remember the time I read the IG-88 story. The finale in the DS2 was actually crazy. This gives the battle of Endor a big twist, not only did the rebel alliance defeat the Emperor, but they also managed to unknowingly stop a galaxy-wide droid rebellion.

IG-88's ending never felt right to me. I never understood why he chose to leave his body to become part of the death star computer instead of just making another copy of his memory, as he'd already done when he was created. I guess maybe he didn't have the right equipment, but you'd think in 20+ years of controlling a huge droid mech world they'd be able to make more IG-88's or make the equipment they need to copy their consciousness more.

Fun fact: There was another IG model in the room with them who helped them and escaped on his own. It was an IG-67 model IIRC and IG-88A offered to coppy his memory core over but the other model refused as he was already online and functional.

11:12-11:16: I would and I have suggestion. How about a video on the story of the Jedi Roan Shryne's and his brief campaign against the Empire in 19 BBY. In case you don't know what I'm talking about, however unlikly that seems given you possess an impressivly vast knowledge of the Star Wars lore, Grand Master Geetsly, it all starts with the Battle of Murkhana when Order 66 is issued, but the Clone Commandos of Ion Team save Roan, along with two other Jedi Bol Chatak and Olee Starstone from being excuted. They can't get off the planet however, then Darth Vader arrives to deal with Ion Team challenging them to battle and killing two of them, but then Bol Chatak jumps in to give the surviving Commandos and Roan and Olee a chance to escape. Bol Chatak falls, but Roan and Olee do escape and team up with some pirates or something and start causing some trouble for the Empire, they reactivate an old Battle Droid base to cover their escape somewhere, they try to help save Senator Fang Zar(a member of the Delegation of the 2000) but failed, and finally they team up with the Wookies on Kashyyyk alongside 6 other Jedi and reprogrammed left over Battle Droids from the Battle of Kashyyyk to openly fight the Empire, but they lose, many Wookies are enslaved, and Roan along with 2 of the other 7 Jedi are killed. That could be a good story to talk about, just a thought.

Chassis is pronounced "chas-ee". Also, there's no "r" in the word "law". Lastly, unless the lore has been changed, it was IG88B that installed itself in the DS2, not IG88A.

NGL the Galactic Empire would've absolutely yeeted a droid rebellion. Most droids weren't controlled from command centers or given orders via signal. And those that were, such as the early B1s, were often less effective than regular humans. Heck, the clone wars had a hundred quadrillion battle droids. And the Republic was way less militaristic than the Galactic Empire. So a few trillion, even if well placed, probably wouldn't have won. Even the death star thing wouldn't really matter as much as people think.

Tbf, the CIS if they were actually fighting to win would’ve easily overwhelmed the republic. This is a major point in Republic Commando. The only reason the CIS didn’t win out of sheer numbers alone was because of Palpatine
