wdym by "rarer the more you have"? There is no actual limit but you're limited by your god pool, so if you have 4 gods in your pool you can have up to 6 duos

Reading from the wiki, and from personal experience, there shouldn't exist a limit to duo boons nor an increasing rarity; I think this run was just a bit unlucky with them.

Your chances of getting a duo offered is not affected by how many (of those possible) you already have, either positively or negatively.

I believe that the fire spreads a bit between each phase (there will be a small amount of oil on the ground in her first phase and a large amount in her last) and that Boated was just standing by the fire as it spread. I'd never witnessed it in real time like that so I got a laugh out of it.
