How to Play Project Ascension - Classless World of Warcraft UPDATED Guide 2023

Mcdoubles back again with a brand new video and today I'll give you guys my 2023 nooby's guide to Project Ascension, including what IS Project Ascension (classless and other) and a rundown of what makes it unique. I'll also do a step-by-step guide on how to play that you literally can't mess up, and give a bit of a shout out to a few extra features I like at the end.

I mean, NGL, have seen this "Ascension" server advertised a lot over the social medias, but never looked too much into it as I always gave for granted they're empty, unpopular ripoffs. But looking at this video, it looks so creative, solid and a pretty decent playerbase. Definetly what I'd love to see in retail WoW nowadays. I might try this out.

I loved the addition of OG specs that had and how it was scaled. I would def be down for an OG class server just making it a bit harder but able to use all the cool enchants they add and maybe even just adding like 10 skill points you can add into any other tree and like 3 or so abilities. Played on this server when it was first launched for a good few years and loved it early on but the crazyness they have added to it just gets out of hand IMO now.

Hey, McDs, hope all is well. I just wanted to reach out and ask if you could push for some more simplicity for some classes in CoA. I know you have been working with the team, and I think you're input is needed. I think they need to rethink how bloated and complex simple leveling rotations are, i haven't played in months and don't have examples off hand, but about every class I leveled to 50 felt overly complex for complexities sake. Sometimes simplicity with small nuances is needed. Not every class needs 6 damaging abilities that need to be woven together. Love your vids man. keep it up

Lucky cards best use for skill u become around Level 1 to 35 so u become them most of the time or use a mastery card and the specific card for the specific mastery skill so u become them really Safe dont use luckys for 40+ skill only when u need a specific skill for ur Build but for high Level skill i consider to use normal or golden skill cards^^

One minor thing. Area 52 isn't fully progressed. It's on Mount Hyjal... It took 3 years to go from SSC-Hyjal. At this rate it won't ever be fully progressed. But don't let that discourage you it's still a fun realm.

I played compound Power before it get now popular i skilled the character of me that he auto shot in 0,75 seconds with improved aspect of the Hawk active around 0,5 seconds^^

After you hit 70 you'll easily be able to afford it, going 1-70 is super fast so don't worry, you can have it on your next prestige

When you say open world is the slowest way to level, do you mean without an aura and pot? Because you can 1-70 in open world with exp boosts in under one hour.

I tried this server before, the concept was very interesting and fun, but the player base was terrible. In Bgs you see players with epics who made sure not to attack each other. It was essentially seal clubbing with a 6v4 on each side.

Yeah I have a level 70 that I messed around with a lot on the free pick server but just started the draft mode server kind of annoying I have to get all the enchants again. To be honest I feel like it would be better to just give everyone all the enchants just let people pick the like talents. Dont really get the point of having to go out and collect them. I just want to try different builds not farm stuff

I like playing tanks and unfortunaly for me ascension made tanking super boring and pigeonholed all the stances so it never feels classless. if i wanna play MFB i can choose from maybe two builds that will work into end game. they need to take away some of the stance requirements on tanking legendarys like crimson champion and open them up to being, you know, classless

Can you stop representing area52 as a garbage realm and dumbster for others? It also has a big community and for example I am sick of drafting builds (I played it a lot and reached the point that I hate it) cause there is always a spell missing, people just play draft to get an additional advantage (not gear only) over others with a perfect build, that's how I see it. Free pick didn't get a lot of love in the past, but recently it is actually treated as a core realm, some people just wanna play their builds, so please stop representing this realm like a dumbster. Since you can't pick everything anymore on area 52 with the rarity system implemented, I think area 52 is quite balanced and in a good spot. Anyways, besides that good video keep up the good work.
