Excellent job covering this case! You went into more details than I’ve heard, which is impressive considering how I’ve been obsessed with this case since it first came under the public eye. @@amityislandchum How is it a GUARANTEE just because no one has recognized a crappy drawing made from grainy video and witnesses (eye witnesses are famously unreliable)? Also, its pretty clear the cops are holding their cards close to the chest, because they don't wanna release to much to the public. Probably because it releases it to the killer too. So, maybe someone has pointed out locals that look similar, possibly this "suspect" they keep ominously mentioning. but the cops just don't have the evidence to go forward. Who in the heck calls off a search for two missing children because they are worried about their own safety? I would have searched non-stop if I believed there was any chance that I could find them.
@deliajones95412 жыл бұрын
Where were all those people searching for all those hours? Obviously not a half mile around the bridge or they would have seen them. They didn't look within a half mile, all those searchers, it don't add up, sorry, it just don't add up they didn't search there that nite when I t was so close by.
@cherylb20082 жыл бұрын
I don’t recall that they found something under the bridge- didn’t know that. Knew Libby had her black Nike found at the area before crossing the creek. The anniversary is coming up. . Also more than one person in charge collaborated on stopping the search. Safety was an issue.

Good audio on the "guys"...the way he says "guys" is telling...I know he was likely trying to sound like an officer, but it dosent sound like a phony attempt..the tone, pronunciation, cadence are all very approiate if he was an officer approaching girls their age and had committed an offense like tresspassing..it's too spot on..if this guy isn't a police officer or had been in the past...then he's done something in his life that gives him confidence he can come across so authentic..I think we need to be looking at security guards, like school security or mall security, sporting events...he has experience with handling girls their age involved in similar situations as this..I think he's had to warn teens about rules like trespassing in a legitimate senario in his recent past..so any authoritarian security type job or position that puts you around kids this age...his statement was kinda ambiguous as to there gender, even for a psychopath I think it would be hard not to see them as the teen girls that he's been hoping to and now is about to predate.. makes me think he worked on removing or was trained to remove any possible sexual overtones from his communications in his position were he developed this...like anyone exercising authority, espicaly with women or children, are typicaly trained to or take it on themselves to do in these type of jobs..his accent sounds like he's from that greater area...like indiana or the surrounding states..dosent sound very rural though...sounds urban or suburban and somewhat educated...he ofcourse didn't know he was being recorded so the fact he was likely portraying an officer tells us something..it's a somewhat obvious ruse anyone might could come up with, but the familiarity and ease in which he does it tells me this isn't a con he practiced or worked on for this event or other attempts...it's to effortless and natural...this attitude has been honed in an authentic professional enviorment...I would look at church youth leaders or security...not only because it very much reminded me of that just on its surface or because of the religious connotations at the murder scene...but because I could see someone using a position like that as a disguise to get in proximity to the type of prey he likes...and church events are about as non threatening as it gets...the way he sells the line and it's delivery make me think he wants them to be at ease and care free, and needs them to be comfortable to make him comfortable doing what he's doing

I don't think the "catfishing" theory has anything to do with the killer. Just shows how desperate police are to find somethin
@creativejeans99832 жыл бұрын
This maybe far left field, but I'm wondering could first sketch of older man described be a catfisher using the younger guys sketch as himself to trick the girls? I'm probably wrong, its so frustrating that this case has not been solved yet.
@cappy22822 жыл бұрын
@@creativejeans9983 1) lol I know, this case pisses me off so bad and I can't believe he hasn't been caught yet either? 2) And i think if killer used younger picture of himself to catfish...they would have found him by now (cops were at that one catfish dudes house couple days after murder...so they were on top of the girls social media connects fast?) 2) When I watch the video of "Bridge scum" I see a man in his 40's and it looks like the first sketch. The second sketch looks nothing like "Bridge scum" so I have no clue wtf the police are doing with that sketch...just confusing? 2) Bridge scum didn't care (or concern himself) with the girls having a cell phone? I think if there was a social media connection, first thing dude would have done was to get that phone off of Libby? I think killer picked the spot to kill someone and Abby and Libby were unfortunate enough to be there? There has to be a reason he was out there on a Tuesday afternoon with a bunch of sh*t (to kill someone) shoved under his jacket? What a dirtbag 😑
@creativejeans99832 жыл бұрын
@@cappy2282 Yesss!! I totally agree about how the first sketch I feel accurately like you mentioned looks like he is in his 40s from the sketch and video too! The second sketch seemed far fetched and probably wasn't used as catfish bait. I was just trying to think outside the box and still end up at square one. I don't think its any of the guys that have been names mentioned so far. Creeps and monsters, yes, but maybe not this specific monster. Whoever that "leak" user name is, putting that shit on FB that they supposedly know secretly is gross and exploitative to the victims and their families.
@cappy22822 жыл бұрын
@@creativejeans9983 ... ya, I have these theories that inevitably put me back to square one, as well. But wtf they haven't caught the dude yet and the case is so f*cking weird that "thinking outside the box" is all we can do at this point. (The idea of someone getting away with this is unacceptable and I feel bad for police and families. They are so desperate to get answers 2) And I agree, the FB leaks were kinda disgusting. Didn't seem like she/he was leaking info to get it out to public. (Just wanted attention and to brag about knowing details others did not?) Idk 3) I thought he may have been homeless/camper but his face looks freshly shaved in video. (I only think homeless because nobody knows who he is?) Its weird to me that nobody knows who the guy is. The video is terrible quality but if that was somebody I knew...I would be able to identify him. It's like the guy is a ghost and nobody has ever seen him before. 4) I don't think it's any of the suspects we've seen either (I wanted to convince myself that it was that John Conwell dude...but that's clearly not the case) 5) I wanna know if they have dudes DNA (they say they do but they could be bluffing?) But without DNA this case may never be solved. Sucks
@creativejeans99832 жыл бұрын
@@cappy2282 1) I agree with you it's beyond frustrating and maybe it's a good thing the cops are still holding back a little until they are sure? Some just think too fast and get impatient and then the media goes crazy with false narratives and then giving the monster more freedom to get away. I have to think that they know more and know what they are doing and that somehow we will get answers when the time is right I'm hoping. 2) Yes the FB leaks were the worst and it is crazy how human beings can find some kind of sick pleasure for their own gain to exploit details that I feel are probably most likely made up or something it's sick. 3) Yes I don't like the whole homeless guy thing no way that just isn't in this case I feel. Video is horrible quality I agree! It's annoying to only hear barley anything from that audio too which is hard to hear. He could be someone everyone knows but he's good at playing coy I don't know hmmm 4) Yeah weird right like you want to think it's got to be one of them!! But damn it instinct says no ugh 5) They got to have DNA of some kind. The gig butts they sound in the water though may not help but there has to be something of a trace of him and maybe that is why they are keeping quiet.

I’ve been following this case since it happened, something about it is so disturbing and frustrating. I’m guessing it’s that these young girls knew what was going to happen by video taping the guy purposely. I wonder if they thought to tell him he’d been captured on Snapchat and live? Even with all I knew, I never heard about Chadwell but tell me that at 15:31 those tattoos aren’t of those poor girls. Thank you for the great video, you’ve earned a sub. Can’t wait to see your other content👌

Filming in this case wasn’t going to help them unless it was a live stream that people would actually be likely to see the moment they went live, not everyone knows enough people for that to be guaranteed. Even then, they’d need to make sure the geo location is on so people know where they are. Texting their dad to get him to call police (as he’d be expecting contact) or just outright calling police on the spot themselves would’ve been better choices, getting your exact location out is the MOST important thing to do when you feel threatened. I hope people learn some lessons to teach their kids to hopefully avoid similar fates, things like never complying regardless of the weapon they have in their possession, even a gun. Unless it’s a regular robbery/car jacking, you can assume they plan to kill you, cooperating only makes it easier for them. And if the leaker is telling the truth about them pretending to arrest them for trespassing, then that’s where it’s equally important for kids to know to not just assume people are police/people they have to comply to the commands of, a million times so if they’re trying to cuff and detain you! One should always call the cops when you’re unsure the person is legit or if what a they’re doing is legal. Any real cop wouldn’t interfere and it’s a sign to run if they in anyway try to stop you. Too many people have died at the hands of people pretending to be cops, it’s an unfortunately common tactic killers use, especially when targeting women or children.

The man saying "Guys, down the hill." sounds like he was somehow frustrated and on the other hand very determined, focused. Why would the other girl have taken the video of the man? With most certainty, it's not by accident. The girls must have felt very uncomfortable by the man's presence. Possibly they had already had an alarming encounter earlier that day, who knows even earlier than that on a different day in another location.
