I’ll never forget when the buffed his alpha to go up walls. Swear for a couple weeks he was cooking, than the floaty bunches started getting added into the game. Bro really went from potential A tier to unless with no nerfs😂

The depressing part is the devs negligence. Some characters are fine solo and others are heavy on team composition. It's not even like he's bad it's just every other character can float or hover making all his options useless. By the time they touch ground Shigi probably already too low on health to fight back. Happen with me earlier, Nejire (Me just got revived), Twice (partner) and a Solo Shigi. Shigi got Twice downed and out, I just stayed floating spamming beta and gamma to push him in the gas zone. With limited mobility and no way to counter he downed to the gas. Just sad news for Red Shigi mains.

For real. Hawks was bad enough but Nejire just adds yet another character he has 0 chance to fight back against. I played hawks with a friend yesterday for like an hour and it made me realize how many dbz fights are going on now. Nejire. Hawks, Mirio, Iida, Twice, Rapid Bakugo and Toga, and a bit of endeavor. It was ridiculous to see 1 shiggy on the ground just staring at all of us. They took my main away 😢

Its a similar situation for Kiri mains but we've thankfully adapted by maxing Beta and using Gamma as an airstrike. Rapid meta hurts a lot of base game characters but Shiggy is the outstanding exception with almost no way to fight back or strats to help

Me and my friend made kiri work. He would lift me with hawks and I'd crash down with Gamma. He tried to get me canceled but wanting me to yell Hiroshima instead of kirishima 😭

They should make it to where he can use his special action can combo with his alpha. Like if you use alpha pop special where you used alpha and it makes an animation like explosion to catch airborne characters

I still think it’s crazy that Nejire is impossible to fight one on one as a red shig for there to be a character that’s just an instant loss against is dumb. Your only chance is catching her by surprise

Even then she will fly away. Basically red shiggy needs a team to deal with the flyers but than he contributes almost nothing to that team since he can't hit them. He's officially a support just on the ground healing 🤣 the team with drinks

Like i said once all grounded units should be given moves that can go into the air coupled with a CONSISTENT CC move that can keep the flight units on the ground to take damage Eg. Kiri's beta should be able to be cancelled into his alpha to let him bring enemies to the ground and deal good damage before the cc's duratiin is over Strike shiggy should have his special action to be a dash that can go into mid air and allowed to combo into his grab to take flight units to the ground Momo's alpha should be allowed to have a pull effect if control stick is moved back (a mechanic present with strike shoto where analog stick movement makes his move act different)

Anybody that thinks it's a skill issue probably use the pay 2 win characters, most of whom deal guard breaking damage off the strength of one or two moves meanwhile a lot of the base characters have to use most of their kit in order to get the same amount of damage. The game has always had broken moves, characters, etc but it was at the very least manageable. What is Strike Shigaraki supposed to do against a character like Nejire that can simply exist in the air and go for AOE attacks?

I got told it was a skill issue on this video already lol. It's a skill issue for me to not be able to hit half the cast literally. I do agree about always having broken characters. Strike bakugo was a monster early on but it was controlled chaos. You could realistically fight him with everyone in the game at the time. Now they keep nerfing him after he's become terrible but basically buffs hawks. That's INSANE. Shiggy only wins if the rapid players just suck honestly.

Here is what they need to do. Rework Strike Dabi, just a straight abomination of a character. NERF Overhauls gamma's height and damage. There is no reason for it to be a guaranteed shield break. Adjust/make characters damage outplay match their role. Like Nejiri is just a strike lets be fuckin for real. ATM what the game feels like, especially in ranked, is just a three-four way tie of rock paper scissors between Strike Dabi, Hawks, Nejiri, Overhaul. Then you can sprinkle Rapid toga, strike Deku, Rapid Bakugo and Technical Todoroki. OH LOOK what do all these things have in common? Quirk skill set or new character released after season 5.

I think overhaul alpha got nerfed on dmg. They nerfed Kendo the rapid meta counter... strike dabi doesn't even make me mad anymore cause all these damn birds. I'm joining birdgang at this point fuck it

Ok so i got a couple points 1)i think we can all agree that overhaul is the best no movement character 2)i am planning on quitting this game, it's realy getting frustrating having to deal whit rapid only lobboes, and yea i got hawks but out of luck, cuz the gacha system is complete trash, makes the game pay to win and extremely luck based, the tuning system? Useless ability or a bit usefoul one, like getting pu or pc after killing enemyes, but oh wait i did like 5 games and got 0 kills, wow good, i played whit compress arrived to the end, 0 kills and 2000 damage now this is a good game? Nah this game is doomed

I dont wana sound mean when i say this but rn fixing strike shigi is kinda impossible. Give him gamma climbing up walls or his old alpha dmg back and none of it will actually change his tier list position beyond one or 2 characters. The issue he has is not related to negligence from the devs for him specifically but rather the negligence of the devs with the meta. The recent overhaul nerfs make him a lot worse and give strike shigi his niche back. The problem is that his niche isn't wanted at all in such a meta. If the devs did a balance update that made hawks, froppy, ochaco, rapid toga, rapid bakugo, iida, nejire, and more all more niche options rather than the top tiers strike shigi would still be good. This meta heavily favors characters that can fly and until that changes there will be nothing the devs can do to fix strike shigi. Even assualt shigi is struggling too as he can technically hit air opponents but it does pitiful dmg so even assualt shigi who can actually hit them cant do more than a single guard break before they fly off and heal and assualt shigi is out of options entirely. A good start tho that i would do is give strike shigi a slight vertical hitbox on his moves like how assualt shigi does for alpha. This would make him able to hit characters while they are doing certain moves like a full bullet beta or iida alpha and beta. It wouldn't fix him nor would it help him much but it would make him feel a lot more consistent with his attacks

I was thinking that would be good fix but like you said it's pretty impossible. The slight vertical hitbox would deal with character like iida or froppy but most of the others would barely care about it. Any true fix I feel would literally just become a quirk skill set. I accepted that he's just become unplayable. Played 1 match yesterday with him and was in final ring and everyone just fighting above. Literally just left the game. I don't have the patience anymore.

Bro i've been saying this, I mainly play Cementoss and the game has just been hell lately. Cementoss whole thing was to build up... but now even if i build up i'm still below everyone else. How tf am i gonna 3 pillar stack up only to have half the lobby still flying above me? It's so hard to even hit them with his attacks while they're in the air and they lose half their effectiveness because they're not being hit by the built wall/pillar. Just way too many characters spend too much time in the air and most of the original characters can't even do anything about it. And then out of NOWHERE they nerf KENDO?! KENDO?? I never even see a Kendo except for like 1 every couple games or when i play her. Meanwhile EVERYONE has complained about Hawks since day 1, there's always at least 4/5 per match every match, and they barely tickle him? Didn't even touch red dabi/deku and now this tunning bs? I'm so glad Marvel Rivals is coming out in 2 weeks because i'm honestly done with Ultra Rumble at this point.

I feel that. I played alot of cementoss last season and I'm just like what does he do? I've noticed the matches are so much better with the og cast with a few exceptions (Yellow shiggy is chill for example) They've just completely given up on the old cast. We need to make it fair. Let shiggy, cementoss, kirishima, etc fight under the map so the flyers can't screw with us 😂

Ehh. Id say strike bakugo is worst. Strike Todoroki is 2nd Worst. And Strike Shigaraki is 3rd worst. I play a lot of all 3. Strike Shigaraki just takes a lot of learning about the techs and positioning One of his most important techs is hit special action tech. If you aim straight into the air and jump then special action up you can jump way higher. It becomes way more boosted if you air melee first then do special action in under 2 seconds.
