The Descriptions of Jannah - Episode 5: The Ambience of Jannah

Intro - Surah Ale Imran, Verse 185:
لُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ ۗ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۖ فَمَنْ زُحْزِحَ عَنِ النَّارِ وَأُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ ۗ وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا مَتَاعُ الْغُرُورِ
Translation:
Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the delusion of enjoyment.

Exactly, the jannah described in the Qur’an is universal. It doesn’t matter what climate they come from-that is exactly what they want. Desert dwellers, mountain dwellers, arctic dwellers, forest dwellers, and plains dwellers would all love a garden with rivers flowing beneath with luscious meats and fruits.

I have turned onto a fresh leaf recently. All away from the sinful acts. I know that Allah SW forgives, but im fearful 😔 sometimes i cannot sleep thinking about punishments. May Allah have mercy on all of us. I for one do not even wana be near the hellfire 😔

Same here brother. All the time I feel uneasy for all the things I have done. All the salah missed, sunnah not followed, sins amassed. It is difficult to sleep, 100%. But, I thank Allah swt so much that he brought me back to his path. He could have left us to go down that road, but he pulled us back. This is why I am forever grateful to him. In'sha'allah it will get easier as time goes on for both of us, and anyone else who has come back to Allah swt. I guess we are still in a state of shock of how we were living, and how we have just suddenly changed. May Allah swt make it easier for us, and grant us jannah, and save us from the punishments of the grave, Ameen. Also brother if you need someone to talk to, I am here. It would be beneficial for both of us, as I have also turned back to Allah swt. ❤️❤️

أنا عند حسن ظن عبدي بي This is a hadith qudsi. The Prophet (S) said that Allah said, "I am whatever my servant thinks of me." Therefore, have a good impression of Allah that he will forgive you. And never think that Allah can't forgive you, that's actually a sign of arrogance to think your sins are too much to be forgiven. For Allah it is easy. Ask for forgiveness and move forward.

Salam Sheikh Yasir. You always amaze me with so many interesting topics and am getting lots of information that I don’t get normally from my Muslim friends. Thanks so much. One thing that bothers me is that my Muslim friends (dai’ee from Islamic centers) insist there are already inhabitants in hellfire and paradise which I cannot accept. As far as I’m concerned, those places will be inhabited when judgment has been dispensed. Also, Sheikh Bilal Assad mentioned in one his lectures that Mary, the mother of Jesus, will be the wife our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in Paradise. Many said it’s a weak hadith but I truly believe as the best of menfolk and the best of womenfolk will be united, such a befitting tribute for both of them from Allah. Can you kindly shed more light into this subject? Much thanks and I really appreciate all your videos.

I guess so. As everyone in Jannah will be able to be free and there are different ranks of jannah. So most likely whichever one you have reached, you will be able to meet people and do as you please. Correct me if i am wrong, I am describing from different sources and little common sense

@Kashy Try to develop a love for great predecessors like the Prophet and his companions (following the sunnah), because you’ll be with those whom you love in Jannah. This can also be your ticket way to the highest levels of paradise despite not having the deeds to earn it. Anas bin Malik (R.A) reported: A Bedouin came to Messenger (PBUH) of Allah and said to him, “When will be the Hour (i.e., the Day of Resurrection)?” He (the Prophet PBUH) said, “What preparation have you made for it?” He said, “Only the love of Allah and His Messenger (PBUH).” Then Messenger (PBUH) of Allah said, “You will be with those whom you love.” (Bukhari and Muslim) The narration in Muslim is: The man replied: “I have made no significant preparation with regard to Salat (prayer), Saum (fasting) and Sadaqah (charity) but I love Allah and His Messenger”.

Mashallah nice lecture, but I have a question. As I am a student of physics in UCLA, we learned you now so many gravity, electromagnetism, strong, weak force and motion energy matter. My question, Does Jannah include these biological and physical quantities of this Universe or does it have a completely different form? Also, is it infinite? Looks like it is. Good Argument : So why is physical pleasure of your Jannat is mocked ? Well mocking is your perception it is a perception which comes from inferiority complex !! But truthful ones doesn't mock but ask !! So yes, Mr. YQ it's true that in mortal life it looks like someone's life makes it false when that person looks at pleasure in a different way. It is not due to the fact that the life interacting like that is falsifying his/her existence. It is due to the fact that mortal life is bound to be temporary. Our 5 senses are those temporary boundaries and the rest life process limiting us to maximum physicality are well tied with those needle like pillars. So the question really is, why shall we be worried or desirous about two sides of Mortality ? One where we live now ? Second is Jannah or Heaven of pleasure. Well you will say Jannah is endless !! Then Jannah is endless mortality. Because mortality resembles the pillars that causes desires. The senses. What do they do ? They ask !! If answer to that call is "yes received" the sense adds up something more till we are overburdened. If answer to that call is "no will not receive" then that demanding sense is in trauma of loss. But essentially, without desire, your blissfulness can exist. That's why you can live only by a hope. Hopefully this makes some sense Mr. YQ. If you have any explanation countering any bit of my writing by any aspect please explain. Have a beautiful day.

It was narrated from Sulaymaan ibn Buraydah from his father that a man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), “O Messenger of Allaah, will there be horses in Paradise?” He said, “If Allaah admits you to Paradise, you will not wish that you could be carried on a horse of red rubies which will fly wherever you want in Paradise, but that will happen.” And another man asked him, “O Messenger of Allaah, will there be camels in Paradise?” He said, “If Allaah admits you to Paradise, you will have therein whatever your heart desires and will delight your eyes.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 2543. Classd as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Targheeb, 3/522. So yes, you will have whatever you wish. I am also InshaAllah, looking forward to having my own Made In Jannah sports cars collection and my own race tracks. So keep striving for the best. :)
