We do it in Poland, too. There are these huts in the mountains, where you can spend the night - people not only keep them clean, but also leave useful stuff for others, like tea, sugar, matches. Hooligans don't go hiking, as my mum says :-)

Your audiovisual editing is off the bliping charts, Erik. September, early october are my favourite anything-months of the year. Not june-hot, but not too cold eighter, all though it can get quite cold.., but I don't mind. The colours are so mesmerizing, and it feels like the forest is getting ready for a good long sleep. I have been to Sweden and walked the trails in Northern Dalarna. Ear deafning silents, completly hearing nothing, only the rushing of your own blood through your body. So now and than a bird, a light breese. Yes, hopefully next spring I will be back on the trails.

​@@jeskg720 I have been on the Härjehågna. Fulufjätt has also beautfull trails. Nearby Mörkret is de trail of 7 falls. My favorite is in Yxingåfallet. With a car that has not a lot of ground clearance, it is a challenge to get to the starting point, but the views are asstounding. Next trip will be a 5 day hike through Töfsingdalens nationalpark.

Sitting down with my cafetiere of coffee and this on a Saturday morning. My eyes can't get enough of the rich, autumn colours. We are about 4 weeks behind in the UK, a preview of the autumn palette to come. Our fences are not as high as yours, but are usually topped with barbed wire - a foam mat laid over this for protection is essential kit!

Your video evoked in me strong feelings of my childhood days in Finland's Karjala district. It's all in the minute details of place. Now living in northern Ontario, Canada it is difficult for me to raise up the same feelings in these forests. I also used to climb over fences but in the 1950's they were of cedar railings on my uncle's farm close to the Russian border. Thanks for the memories.

I just got back from a week backpacking in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. There was an outhouse that had a barrel in it that was supposed to be full of cedar chips/saw dust to cover the waste. Instead the barrel was full of trash and, of course, the placed reeked. Way to go America!

That's camping in style and comfort. I could live the rest of my life in a setting and cabin like that. Apparently Pic Mosquito coils are a world wide item. I notice , what appears to be a partial coil in the left hand window sill. Three different times , at 4:14 to 4:39 again at 13:05 to13:14 then at 13:59 to 14:24. Those are some beautiful Autumn colors Mother Nature has painted the woods with.
