I am so jealous of this guy. His videos are so inspiring but at almost 75 yrs and disabled I can only dream. He is so laid back, no thrashing guitars or useless babble. Just peace and quiet and calm enough to relax a hurricane. Thumbs up to Erik. Long may he hike and give us these wonderful videos.

@@jyornanthemad lol you re really hung up on this topic. Is it because he didn't guy out his tent in case of severe winds ? he clearly checks the weather and camps accordingly I would assume. I've seen many of his vids he seems to know what the F* he s doing in the cold but certainly I am curious if you would elaborate more on what makes his camping style potentially lethal .

Here in Alaska, we also have the long dark cold winter, and then the joy of sun in February. One of my coworkers called February a different season - not winter, not spring, but the "season of dazzle!"

#coffeetime 👍 we finaly had some snow overhere and temperatures below zero. Such a shame i don't have a winter sleeping bag because i realy wanted to sleep outside in the snow. Within a few days snow is gone and back to temperatures above zero. 😭

I just returned from a 5 says long winter camping trip before the spring. I prefer (love) the winter camping trip. Luckily, I could enjoy some snow during the trip :) Now, at last, I have chance to watch this vid. Always, appreciating your contents (especially, winter camping or winter overnight vids). Your vids always successfully provide me peacefulness and I really really appreciate that :) By the way, one of the main goals of this camping trip was silently enjoying Cowboy-Coffee in the snow.

I spent serval years in the eastern arctic of Canada, I remember those Feb months as a welcome return of the sun. The sun's return also seemed to make it colder too. Or it could have been we started to move around more. No trees allowed for constant windy conditions. The look on your face, looking into the sun light. It brings back fond memories. Thank you for sharing!

He's Swedish. Swedish ppl drink something like 5 cups of coffee per day, on average. And we "Fika" a lot (every day pretty much. That's what he's doing, taking a "Fika"). Glad you do it to. It's good for the soul 💕

We have a few places similar to your campsite here in Northern Québec , but the problem would be polar bears, not exactly a place to relax while drinking coffee 😁 , thanks for the crispy video 👍

To managed cold it require keep moving or stay next to fire. I know, I am Finn. He made a film and it doesn't take too long. Cold is very painful.
