Hope you're feeling better man. But to answer your question I think the destiny community had always been like this. The loudest voices are the ones with the most extreme opinions. Offering any criticism or showing any support can get your screamed at for an eternity.

I think people take it to the extreme way too much. Like saying light fall is a curse of Osiris level DLC is wild, while yes the story wasn’t the good, the gameplay and using strand is the most fun I’ve had in the game to this day

I honestly think the D2 community is over all fine, what’s happening is a combination of the typical fringe *everything* has being overly loud again, and the fact that D2 has a large fan base so the fringe is relatively larger

Bro we've been playing for 8 years, the community has always been like this because it's a bunch of og MW2 seeds that think that screaming the n word at someone their mad at at the end of a disagreement makes them right. 😂 that being said I think the less then optimal launch of lightfall further promoted the negative behavior of the community because we often forget that Bungo for all their triumphs and fuck ups are only human. And as far as maintenance goes they do a pretty damn good job. I think the should get more community feedback when it comes to nerf and buff maintenance because starfire protocol did not need to be obliterated into the ground and as much as I love it Graviton Lance did not need to be as effective at range as jade rabbit during its peak. Wthe content has been lack luster and pvp will always be a dumpster fire. I wish the focus more on story telling in LF considering they decided to introduce the 2 heaviest in the d2 verse so far in the sane year, the Witness and Xivu Arath considering that I expected the lore and story development to be way more cinematic but other then server issues the game feels great right now considering there's just some Acne that Proactiv can't fix.

AE changes were only good for SMGs and sidearms. No one is making scout rifle jumpers. SMGs are now turno meta and no one uses sidearms.

Yeah, I say the destiny community is toxic and hateful at times where Im frustrated at the community and other times where it's tolerateble, but I say this the destiny community has some nice people that i met and became friends of. Thank you! Funny story I met a good friend of mine playing VoG in D1…we got to talking during the raid and found out he lived close to me. He’s now in the group chat with my close friends and we celebrate birthdays and everything. Definitely good things came out of this community. Hope you have a good day aswell ❤️

At this point I just accept that some people in the community just choose to be assholes and all that stuff. Honestly like the AE but that may be due to loving Strand overall and hit a lot of shots in the air since it was introduced. With Lightfall: didn't mind Nimbus as it was understandable...Once you read the lore! Been gravitating towards the Monster Hunter community due to how bad the Destiny one can be. Yes both sides have their toxic players but one has it as a rare case while the other can be at any given moment. Off topic but that Warlock fail near the start and that salty Hunter teabagging did bring a chuckle. Moments so rare to find in Crucible these days with how everyone has to run the "Meta" rather than the weapons they'd like to use.

Omg in comparison I legitimately love the Monster Hunter community, it’s also one of my favorite games! I’m glad someone noticed that warlock fail and the hunter teabagging me which pissed me off lol I was gonna take those out but I left it in hoping someone would appreciate it lmao so thanks for that

Personally i love the random bullshit bungie does like the giant screebs. I do think it would be nice for them to fix something like the imortal or the seasonal story or the goddamn hundred dollar expansions story for gods sake. i support the fun and games but at some point when the servers are down for 4 hours a day something will have to be done and the games will have to end.

I get that we cant hate on others for having an opinion. But rn. The game is in the worst state since curse. I took a break right after witch queen and played again in lightfall. I was bored out of my mind. I still am. Tried playing this season. Constant error codes, surprise maintenence and everything rn is just garbage. It feels like bungie has actually doesnt give a shit about the community and only wants our money. Destiny, started as a passion project. Bungie did shit for the community. The guy in the hospital who played d1, got a weapon only he owns because bungie respected him and wanted to show support. Now? Give us your money, see you in final shape. Everything has turned into a cashgrab. Its horrible. And bungie doesnt tell us anything. Nothing at all. They dont tell us about the server issues(they tweeted about it today but its months after it started), they dont inform us about anything and i feel like every destiny player has been turned into a punchingbag that drops money with every punch. I just want this game to be good man. I dont want to cry over my favorite franchise killing its self. But here we are.
