Goff has already signaled that he isn't looking to be paid like a top QB. He said in a few pressers that he's financially set for life and is really only interested in winning at this junction. We've been hearing that he'll more than likely accept a deal worth around $45-$47 million a year for 4 and that will be an extremely team-friendly option. So I'm not worried about Jared and he's been a true professional since the day he arrived. I want them to pay him.

The biggest differences between Alex Smith and Goff that jump out at me are their age and injury history. Smith was 32-33 years old and had two serious shoulder injuries (didn’t have the broken leg yet though). Goff will be 29-30yo and hasn’t missed any significant time from injury.

We have Hendon Hooker if he is 100% to become a starter after his injury. I believe he could lead the team into the future with offensive talent like St. Brown, my Favorite player Jahmyr Gibbs (barry sanders 2.0) Montgomery, Laporta, Jameson Williams becoming a full starter. Campbell and branch and my favorite lions defensive player Hutchinson. As long as Hooker stays healthy he is the future QB starter after Goff gives us a couple Super Bowl rings. GO LIONS!!!!

I love all my RAMily but I’ll have to disagree with some of you. Goff has always been good jusst not under pressure and all that takes time. A lot of us didn’t want him to go, but I wouldn’t want it any other way because we love Matthew over here. I think both sides won. Detroit fans are grateful for everything that Matthew Stafford did and we should be grateful for everything that Goff gave us❤ we got our Super Bowl and Detroit got to celebrate someone that did so much for their organization and now they just want their own and I don’t think that’s any bit of hating on us. Jared has already gotten two massive contracts so I'm hoping to God that he's willing to take a medium-sized contract this last time around in order to let people like Saint Brown get some money weren't first round picks so they never ever had huge contracts. Golf is the number one overall pick and then he got a huge extension on top of it a couple years later so I'm sure he's not hurting for money. Most of these QBs it's not even about the money but money measures their ego. The more they get paid the more they feel like they're respected and acknowledged in the league. Cuz let's be honest if you get 50 million a year or if you get 37 million a year, are you really going to be broke or is your lifestyle really going to be changed, probably not. But guys like Saint Brown make about a million a year if he's lucky, so it'd be nice of golf to take a HomeTown discount to allow the other guys to get paid

The Lions better worry about proving last year wasn't a fluke. Im not entirely convinced it wasn't. Someone needs to put some reins on Campbell and his terrible decisions. It was Campbell that cost them a trip to the Super Bowl. Next year will go a long way to showing who the Lions really are. I homestly dont think they'll make the playoffs.
