Congratulations you're the first person to do half flexi and half perm rods. Both sides gave beautiful curls. I think the flexi makes the hair loose and bouncy. But the perm rods make more of a tighter curl that can last longer for days then end up looking lik flexi. Great comparison and tutorial 💯🔥🔥🔥❤️

the difference could be how you rolled it. the hair is closer together on the perm rod and further apart on the flexi rod. To get similar results you would need to put your hair closer together

NOt to mention you can also start at the root with each type of rod and wrap the hair around it which would give different looking curls as well...more wavy curls. But that's what's so great about our hair...so many different looks and styles.

I always have done flexi rods but I’ve been so interested in the perm rods lately. The curls look much tighter and extremely bouncy. It looks so good, both styles on you ! I think I’m going to try the perm rods next time.

I like using the flexi rods better, but I roll the hair closer together. I like using flexi rods because I have more control over the length and volume that I want. And besides, sometimes the perm rods just don't behave for me and it gets annoying. Lol.

The Chefette I twist my roots a little before rolling, that way they're held in tight and dry straighter because I can never get the roller close enough to my roots to smooth them out. It makes a huge difference.

For length only flexi rods but for everything else perm rods, fuller set. Last longer eventually will fall for length but worth the price you pay and I would consider it a protective style, less combing more finger styling

The perm rod side would have been closer had you separated the curls more. Although the volume would have increased. Both sets were pretty though. I prefer flexi rods and if I had a choice, I would sleep in those b/c they are softer. Perm rods would leave me with a headache. Nice video!
