How I see the distinction between the two: pursuing a woman is like placing a well-baited hook into a pond at the proper location and calmly waiting for the fish to take interest. If the fish doesn't come, calmly move to a different location with suitable fish and try again. Chasing a woman is running into the pond splashing and frantically grabbing at any fish which catches your eye.

So many good points. I've done a lot of these things on both sides. Chasing led me to some cringy moments and blown opportunities, but I've also experienced a lot of the pursuing mindset - living my own life, being able to handle a girl being unreasonable without being reactive while also being willing to walk away if needed, trusting that I'll meet other girls, seeing them realistically... so many things I can relate to. Putting it into words definitely helps the lessons sink in.

A turning point for me came when I finally decided to tell a woman who was late for our date that I would appreciate her letting me know ahead of time instead of making me wait. Plus, her reason was nonchalant and mumbled, laughing it off. IMO, not a good reason. When I told her, she got quiet and we managed to have a nice time, but she wasn't as animated and present like she usually was when we would interact. So? I never heard from her again. Maybe she thought I was an absolute a-hole for talking about being late ( IIRC, she was over close to 30 minutes late ) or maybe she got psyched out by being called on her BS. Either way, it was time in my life to voice my objection over rude and/or disrespecting behavior, i.e. not pedestaling anymore. And if that means one less opportunity with a rather attractive and fun woman in my life, it's worth the payoff in self-respect and the search for higher-caliber women.

Over time I have realized that a lot of times you can think about it in this way "How does she perceives me" And the the answer should be "fun but Respectable and in control" You should not be smiling all the time, switch as your genuine mood changes and she can gauge your range of emotions. Laugh and have fun and be cool but also be able to be firm, from the beginning. Be confident and in control but speak and act in a way that you know that even if your chats or voice notes are to be shown to other people then there is not really much you can be embarrassed by.

During the last year or so of my 14 year marriage, I became the needy, pushover, pathetic guy. We had just moved to a new state for an awesome career opportunity for me and then COVID hit. No friends or family or support system in the new city and all I had was her and our son. She began pulling away and I began to do the passive aggressive, needy, pathetic behaviors of trying to guilt her back into my arms. Of course, this made her pull away more and the downward spiral continued until the (very) bitter end. But! This was the time all her lies and deceptions finally really started to come to light. This betrayal crushed me even deeper. I lost my sense of self during this time. So glad to be getting my identity and confidence back. Endless list of hoops to jump through for men, where petty, moody, hypergamous and entitled behaviour by women either needs to be ignored or soothed. And what does she have to do? Be smart men, go your own way, improve yourself financially, physically, spiritually and emotionally, and women will start persuing you! And then don't commit or cohabitate, but if you do, at least have half of your assets well protected, or even better,totally hidden from her. If all of a sudden she "falls" pregnant ( although she swears she is taking the pill), always have a paternaty test done. ( always wear a condom, but if you don't like that and if you don't want kids, have a vascectomy ,but keep quiet about it) Very few relationships last nowadays, and the longer and more committed you have been, the higher the penalties for you, when most often she decides to move on. So after the "honeymoon" phase of the first months is over, move on yourself as soon as the shit testing or nagging starts.( plenty more like her, or better, younger and nicer than her around) Have a HAPPY life!

Her loss! Honestly alot of these modern women are not high quality so in all honesty you very well maybe the better person of the two of you. Women are not held accountable like men and the feminism movement has most acting very masculine and not in the best Interest of a family! I have been looking for a partner for over 10yrs now and I always find flaws and I'm no longer willing to accept a low quality woman so I very well may die alone but dammit I won't have to deal with an old unaccountable hag!

"Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn" - most manly movie line in history

I would slightly disagree. That line was given in an angry tone. As Wingmam pointed out in the video, men who pursue never get angry. The line should have been given lovingly, with a smile and a pat on the cheek. There is no such thing as Mastery, without Amusement. In fact this is the basic difference between pursuit and chase. At his core, the man who pursues does not give a damn, because an individual success or failure means nothing to him. And when you have achieved this, you will look into your soul and realize that you have paid a heavy price for mastery, because you will find that you literally no longer give an amused damn about having any woman.
@indridcold28723 жыл бұрын
@@brookvalley907 Well my dear, I would recommend to watch the movie first, or skip to the part. Because I cant hear any anger in his voice.
@brookvalley9073 жыл бұрын
@@indridcold2872 good point. There is not a lot of anger in his voice. Perhaps gruff exasperation? And what man has not experienced that emotion toward a woman? That's why I said that I would only slightly disagree. I believe Wingmam said in her video that the pursuer never feels anger, only amusement. So, amusement would be slightly below gruff exasperation? And I harp on it, because it is an observation that almost no other consultant makes. And, to paraphrase another writer, it is the difference between a lightning bug and a lightning bolt. Once you understand why a pursuer never gets angry, you understand everything.

Dear coach. I have to say it officially that the material in this video is like pure gold, premium stuff. Others would charge men big time for this information because this can change the way how most men(who don't know better) will relate to women.

Subscribed, 6’6 handsome and good job but I’ve had women just walk away from me. I’ve been doing it all wrong. Im done replying quickly, making them “feel” good and I’m going to just start focusing on myself. If they want me they will stay around I guess. I grew up in a volatile household where we had to keep my father happy, we never knew what character we had to play that day to make him happy. I guess subconsciously I want to make people in my life feel happy and let them know it’s all good. No mystery in that.

No, he is saying treat them how they behave. If you want respect then at least act like it's a value you hold by showing respect to everyone else.

Easy difference. If a woman does not give you a phone number, then its chasing. If she does, then its pursuing. If she refuses to return calls after that, then it becomes chasing again...If she returns calls but can never find time to go out, its chasing...if she goes out more than three times without putting out, then its chasing...if she puts out but is also putting out with several other guys, its pursuing. But the prize is more like a used car with more miles on it than a city bus.

Rule no.1: Don't fall in love [otherwise you'e considered needy].
@67Stu3 жыл бұрын
Love is a four-letter word.
@avve90013 жыл бұрын
True. Being emotionally attached makes you act needy. If you don't care about the outcome with a girl you'll automatically act in a more alpha way. If you happen to be really in love with a girl, a solution to not end up chasing her is to meet other girls to create options for yourself and reduce your attachment to the first girl. It's ok to want a certain girl, but you should not need her to feel good.

regarding number 9, I am someone who likes to go to the gym almost every night right after work, which means I'm not free for a date until close to 8:30. Well, in an ideal world, where I could meet women who want to dine that late, that would be amazing. The reality is, most people (men and women, included) do not want to have a dinner date that late at night. So if I do what you're saying and "never flake out on myself" when it comes to my fitness oriented lifestyle (which I've had since the mid 80s), I'm probably going to have a hard time ever having a weeknight dinner date again. So, that being said, if a woman seems like a great catch, I will miss a nightly workout here and there in order to get to know her and hopefully facilitate a relationship. I still work out regularly, even in a committed relationship, but I have to compromise a tiny bit and maybe miss a workout here and there. What drives me crazy are the early bird women who insist on being in bed by 10 PM (or earlier) every weeknight because they want to wake up at 5 AMish for THEIR workouts and never compromise for me. I don't continue to date them once I see that behavior
@plasmopix3 жыл бұрын
You expect different results by repeating the same thing. I suggest you work out early to free up your evenings

@@plasmopix that would involve me having to wake up at 5 AM to get to the gym by 530 AM in order to train for 2 hours, eat breakfast, shower and get to work on time. Not gonna happen. I like to have a night that doesn't end at 9 pm, lol

Thanks very much for this. I've definitely chased after women in the past, just wasn't innately getting it, no pun intended, and lately I'd say that my mind and behavior has been aligning with those of your pursuit list, I am certainly seeing a drastic positive difference in how women look at me and talk with me almost any time I'm just out and about my business in public. You covered the details succinctly in this video, illustrated each side clearly and with excellence. Thank you again, God bless you. Still sharing your content 👍

Dear Anna, I've been watching your channel for a couple of years. I must say that the Lord has given you much wisdom. I have learned important things from your videos. But I do want to say that I don't only pray about which actions to take with the woman who will be my wife, but I listen. Seem like after I hear what has me do( my next move- for a lack of a better way of putting it), but it seems like in the next video or 2 (AFTER) you happen to say the same advise. I take this as a confirmation of what He told me. She is a( God fearing) Christian. And it was till are 3rd get together that we started talking about our faith and her eyes lit up when she started to talk about the Lord. Though many fall for attractiveness at first sight, and though she is very pretty it's wasn't till that instances that I knew she would be the one. Love isn't nessary like going through the drive through at Mc Donald's. With her it's been giving her space. Like the song says" Hold on Loosely But Don't Let Go". Our main challeng is that she got really hurt in a prior relationship, l just pray that she would open up about it. It would do her and us much good. And yes, once as soon as I knew she was the one I was direct with her about my intentions. Thank you for your video on pursuing. I know I'm doing the right thing in the right way in love and patience.
