It's not always about the size of the fish, sometimes its just fun catching them like that mate. What a feast for lunch yummo, ohh and definitely give the Grimace shake a go, before its gone 👍 You know how i feel about the way our waterways are treated already mate.... All that dirty water, is the same thing happening along south creek, lots of work going on in multiple locations and nothing stopping the silt, not to mention above that all the silt etc feom the airport via Badgerys creek. Always appreciate you sharing this content mate, the more people that see this the better.

Just went to take our dog for a swim at Yarramundi and turned around when we saw the water quality - dirty and had foamy scum floating ontop. People still swimming in it - unbelievable.

I cannot say things about stuff that gets in our tap water. They found it in Medlow bath dam, and that dam is well away from any housing or industry. The stuff comes from the sky. Noticed how the blue mountains are not blue anymore….. its even hard to see them some days ? Today you could barely see them from rivodelhi.

hey man the Nepean from the boat ramp towards the dam is the cleanest I've ever seen, I could see nearly 5m deep when I went for a fish about a week ago, the shit ya seeing must be coming from somewhere else

When I was young as a kid when I was learning to wake board and that on hawksby river I heard story s about sunken boats and all that in there that’s why it all ways been so shit colour and also same time had a red belly swim over top of me that one was scary but cool cos got to see it get shot up in to the air from the boat .

At the time of the next flood on the river, most places will become shallower with all that stuff being washed away from the banks. Probably more "islands" coming to the Hawkesbury, because of man's folly.

I agree peter. The river will always find the path of least resistance during flood events. Riverbank restoration is nothing more than a bandaid solution.

this is a joke i fished the hawksbury on sunday but up near spencer and the amount of jelly fish is insane apprently they apper when water is dirty but now i understand why the water was so bad on the weekend

The water is normally murky on the bigger tides mate. Water movement picks up sediment from mud banks above and below Spencer, including milson shoals and the mouths of both Mullet and Mooney Mooney creeks. On the smaller tides the sediment is not disturbed as easy.

@@adzoutnabout888 I get that and I do fish spencer quite a bit and I know the water is never like it is up the front but on Sunday there wasd so many jelly fish my spot lock was chewing them up constantly the water quality is definitely worse this weekend
