Helen Bailey was a successful British author, who went missing in 2016. Helen Bailey disappeared while out on a walk with her dog, and when her partner, Ian Stewart called the police four days later, the search was on. From the start the police were suspicious of Ian Stewart, until a neighbour reveals something awful hidden beneath the house.

So Helen met him, took him and his two sons into her home and gave him access to the joint account. She was very wealthy and was going to marry him. Yet this still wasn't enough for him. What a foul slob.

She seemed like a lovely person with a good heart. He sat there and watched how excited she was to remarry and be in love after losing the love of her life, only thinking of killing her and taking her money. You could even tell during the interview with the police he didn't give a shit, couldn't even be arsed to come up with a believable story of his fiancee being happy and cheerful before tragedy.

@Liliquan
@Liliquan 4 жыл бұрын
@@chelssss She had a lot going for her indeed. But I guess intelligence, skill, creativity, caring etc. weren't worth the mention. Only her looks and money were worth mentioning. I guess she's lucky though, because most females only get the pleasure of having their looks appraised by men online.
@chelssss
@chelssss 4 жыл бұрын
@@Liliquan the same could be said for men, only they are judged solely by their wealth. Regardless, we don't get to know her personality through this video. The only facts we can take from the video are: 1-she was wealthy and 2-she was physically attractive. To comment on her personality you'd have to make assumptions based on wealth and appearance, because that's all we actually know about this woman. OP couldn't possibly comment on her personality. IMO, making assumptions about one's personality based on wealth and appearance perpetuates an unhealthy way of thinking. Just as you believe it's unfair that women only get praise for their appearance, and I believe men only get praise for their money. It is extremely unfair (and sometimes even dangerous) to make assumptions about someone based on their attractiveness and social status.

To everyone, if you ever get caught in a rip current these rules will save your life Don't swim against it trying to get back to shore you won't win Don't panic, take a deep breath and calm yourself Most important, swim sideways while it pulls you do not swim sideways against it. You will eventually get out of the current and be able to tread water till help comes or swim back to shore.

You've honestly added a new parameter to the storytelling part of true-crime. Not making jokes about anybody deceased or disappeared, but still keeping the viewer informed and entertained throughout the whole video is a balance, few can handle. Thank you!

He is truly revolting...but it's how psychopaths work, unfortunately. they might not be 'physically' gorgeous, but from the sounds of it she was infatuatd with him and couldn't see him for what he really was. When psychopaths want something from you, (in her case her money) they can absolutely convince you that they are charming, loving, kind, generous, and affectionate. they play the long game for just long enough until they don't need you anymore. Then you will be brutally and callously discarded- either emotionally or literally! I think our perceptions of him vs her perception of him speak volumes to how these APD malignant's methods work.

Ruth Johnson I have doubts about the insurance in this case, I'm not sure how he planned on collecting the life insurance payout without proving she's dead. He hid her remains in a way that suggests he didn't want them to be found. Unless he planned n waiting out the number of years required by law to have someone declared deceased in absentia.

I got caught in a rip ride once. It took just a couple of minutes and I was roughly close to a mile down the beach from where I entered. I was exhausted by the time I made it out of the water, and I was in my early 20's. Riptides are no joke.

Where I live the weather has been 115°F lately which is HIGHLY UNUSUAL so we've been going to the river and oceans to swim and ive been trying to explain this to my 7 year old who is a decent swimmer fot his age but when it comes to those tides it aint no joke Unfortunately a 4 year old girl lost her life the other night by falling out of a kayak. Rip girl.
@apebeats6631

@@riotgrrrl5924 That's awful to hear. When you're young it's easy to feel like nothing bad will happen...until it does. I'm a fairly strong swimmer, or at least I was then, but it doesn't matter if you're Michael Phelps, when that current grabs you it's not going to get tired no matter how long it fights to pull you away. Drowning is not peaceful. It was just a few seconds after I made the decision to get in the water that I realized I made a mistake. It took just a few minutes to exhaust me completely and I was extremely lucky to make it out of the water. Read this to them if you think it may help communicate the dangers of powerful currents. I've had friends in great shape drown in calmer waters than what I survived. Once you're in that water, it's up to nature to be forgiving, and that's not a common occurrence. Please be safe, little one. You've got a long life ahead of you filled with so many great experiences. Don't let a trip to go swimming be the last thing you do.
