The Disappearing Depositor

The plaintiff says he gave the defendant a deposit for a room he was going to rent, but the guy never gave him a key and then dropped off the face of the earth with his money. He’s suing the con man to get it back. The defendant says the plaintiff was the one who disappeared for two months. He’s countersuing for three months of rent.

Judge Mathis mentioned it in an interview (can't find the source) and if I remember correctly Judge Judy also talked about shooting only a few times a month on the Norm Macdonald Podcast. So yeah, Angel is correct. But it's not just "court shows", very few TV series are filmed every week.
