Honestly it was pretty much as you described during the beta, a peaceful gathering of fans. They had program that checked photos being uploaded, but it failed during the launch lol. And, in typical hololive fashion, they fixed it the next day. Still not perfect, but way better than the launch.

I don't even know why community interactions were ever a feature, because honestly, it seems that everything that's NOT community interactions seems to justify the app's existence alone. I don't want to use Twitter just to get updates from my oshi, and KZbin community posts are a mixed-bag, so a dedicated newsletter app is right up my alley, no community interaction needed.

It just took a few Discord raids and OKBH to create something worst than vt (at least that shithole bans PL material). Moderation is probably going to turn the app into another Holo SubReddit, but whatever, moderation is critical.

Another Holo Preditt? Color me not surprised. As a way for focused or dedicated Holo vtuber fans to be up to dat on their Oshis schedules or merch/event releases, more power to those (and also a preventative "You get what you deserve" when something in it goes downhill thanks to coomsoomer enablist behavior). As a product overall however.... Not exactly going to be a smooth situation no matter how the Community part gets handled. Do the hand too heavily and it will be nothing but corporative sanitized boring. Let things be moderation only for truly bad cases and it becomes something corpos don't like having their Brand name officially attached to it. There will be no kiddle ground for it unless they go current Twatter in approach (the "We not doing anything that users post unless there's enough or valid complaints about it" approach, even for images posted)

I"m lucky that it wasn't released yet in Europe, because I would def have downloaded it first day and probably seen things that I'd prefer not to have seen (like the irl faces of the talents). Eh, there is no need to be overly dramatic about it I think. This topic feels more like stream/second channel highlight material than actual main channel video material tbh. Like, I heard that the first public day was chaotic and unhinged but by the time I downloaded it (which would be late in the first day or early in the second day, I think) it was pretty much cleaned up and I haven't seen anything massively objectionable since. Everything has been fairly calm. Unless this state of affairs comes to an end and large scale chaos resumes this whole Holoplus EN first public day thing seems like a massive nothingburger that will be forgotten in a month (especially with a huge event like Aqua's graduation and Breaking Dimensions concert already massively overshadowing it in Hololive discussion elsewhere.

Like a lot of small corpo or indie stuff he talks about on stream and posts as a highlight video on the alt channel rather than doing videos here. Holoplus First Day seems more like those than rest of the stuff on the main channel which are either massive events or more general overviews.

The rise and fall of vtubing in Latin America. Why do vtubers from Latin America and Spain have little support and don't work? These are some ideas for some titles, and since I'm Latino, it makes me sad that in Latin America all the vtubers are going through that situation, they are not as successful as in America, Europe, Japan.and Southeast Asia. This is the reason why large agencies have not entered the vtuber market in Latin America.

Coming from the 100k ranking stream, you know I realized why some of these aren't watched despite how well the videos are made. The editing on this one is amazing, but...
