Valeria wasn't sultana, she called herself sultana, and harem girls probably didn't get it. And in real life, they weren't all sultanas when they gave birth to a boy. For example, Mahidevran was always called hatun. Hürrem was also called hatun until the day she married.

But during suleiman reign, he change and give title sultanah for sultan's mother (Valide Hafsa Sultan), his legal wife (Haseki Hurrem Sultan) and to all imperial princess. And suleiman concubine like Gulfem and Mahidevran, they only get title Hatun. Since they was not legal wife of Sultan, so they will not get title Sultan and not have influence in harem Sultan. They will get title Sultan and higly position in the harem if they become Valide Sultan only

Sultanas were only sister of the Sultan. Later, from Suleiman's reign also valide and legal wives and ofc haseki's after 1533. Concubines were called "hatun". No matter if they gave birth to a boy or a girl, they vere concubines and slaves. And no one can carry a royal title and be a slave at the same time.
