The Dish: Simon Rogan on his award-winning restaurant, L'Enclume

Simon Rogan's two-star Michelin restaurant L'Enclume features one of the world���s most elaborate tasting menus, inside a 13th-century building. Since opening 20 years ago, L'Enclume has been named the best restaurant in England six times. It's not easy to reach, and even harder to get a reservation. But for those who make it, they get way more than just a meal. Jeff Glor has the details.

I grew up just outside Cartmel and worked in the pub next door for a few summers. We went their on boxing day for the first time. Everything is absolutely superb from the service to the food. They never ask you how a dish was, which is a really nice touch. I guess they know how good it is :)

Ate there a few days ago...amazing food and service (though 16 courses is perhaps a little OTT!). The US presenter's pronunciations are amusing..tur-bow (turbot)? It's more like tur-bott.. luvarje (lovage)? It's more like luvidge?
