Rebecca had the same sentiment. In her video, she mentions that one of her last interactions with her teacher involved resubmitting a previous assignment that had been corrected for a better grade. But when she got it back, he had actually *lowered* the grade. Rebecca immediately confronted him outside the classroom to voice her grievances. She points out that he had come dangerously close to her at certain points but was seemingly stopped by another student acting as a witness. After she brings up the murder, she remarks on this incident and how close she potentially came to being a victim herself.

Not to mention upsetting, not only a life was taken because of his own hands but also, that same act lead him to kill himself later down the line, thus two lives taken, and its scary to think another life would've also been taken if Rebecca's friend wasn't there to watch her and him when she did, there's so many ways fate would've changed that, to the friend going to take a bathroom break when they had the argument, to another moment to have an argument and not only the friend but her mother to not be there, and much more lives cause remember Rebecca has a sister and a mother still alive by the time she's taking that class, and they wouldn't anymore if he just simply called the two family members into the class room while no one is there to stop him and her friends old and new cause they might be in her contacts too, fate would've changed if her friend would've been there in exact timing....

I dont see the point of complaining and putting her down for not putting much detail and then making it a point that zero is better. Its kinda rude tbh. There r so many reasons Y she didnt put alot of detail. Firstly shes an animator and it takes alot of time and patience meaning she mightve had to do alot more unnecessary animating expecially just for a couple more words? All she was trying to do was share her experience and get her point across, not go into detail bc again shes an animator not a detective. Maybe She didnt want to get too gorey and into details because most of her videos are good and for kids and younger people to watch so a kid might click it thinking its a joke and then hear that, or she might not have wanted to get into legal trouble or get striked for talking about it, or maybe she just simply didnt want to. Finally your comment was unnecessary u dont need to put someone else down to praise someone else. U couldve easily said something like "thanks for explaining better into detail, after watching hers i was curious about it all" i know u probably didnt mean to be hurtful but please maybe think a little more about what u say before u say it

@@na1264 Don't worry, it's not the case in a lot of universities (at least in the US, where I live). I mean none of my friends' nor my own university is like that. You usually have a residence advisor (an upperclassman who keeps an eye on the dorm hall) who makes sure everyones ok, but even then you can still go do stuff. I can't think of any reason a professor needs to know your exact dorm, you're an adult. Maybe it's a religious institution thing?
@beccag27583 жыл бұрын
@@na1264 I’ve never heard of a US college that requires students to tell profs where they live or ask them for permission to leave campus (for obvious safety reasons as well as adults shouldn’t need “permission” to leave campus, it’s not as if it’s a prison). However, when I was looking into a university to study abroad at, they did say they want you to tell them when you leave the city/when you return (not asking for permission, just “hey I’m gone for these three days and if I’m not back by then maybe call the police”). Also, in the US we have these things called Learning Communities which are basically certain dorm floors are dedicated to students with similar majors (like biology, foreign languages, etc) and in that case it might be possible that the professors in charge of your program have your room number (mine knew my wing but that was it) because they sometimes dropped off stuff like prizes from group special events and what not. Long story short, if you’re in the US I highly doubt you’d ever be required to hand over your address to a random professor. If some random prof asked you to reveal what apartment you live in they’d probably get investigated, suspended, and possibly fired

Even if that wasn't the case, a lot of horrible people fly under the radar by being selective about who they target (serial killers often have stellar reputations within their usual circles), so it's entirely possible that E was in at least one social circle where people genuinely did think that about him, either because he was able to mask his more disturbing behaviors or because he was able to find similar people.

I feel Rebeca did his animated self justice to look less like a murderer, the real photo sets off so many red flags, and the editing choice to swap them was amazingly unnerving while being subtle. Amazing job with this!

What gave me chils is that when both "E" and Rebecca we're arguing about a Grade, GOD knows what could have happened to her. She would've been attacked or even worse if she didn't have a witness with her, It was a good thing she had her friend Mary watching the whole thing.

The scary thing is Rebecca got a stupid grade from him and took him to the hallway to argue with him, as she said he looked like he was about to choke her as he kept getting his hands close to her neck but there was a witness in the hallway who was watching them.

Engel showed clear signs of an inferiority complex in rebecca's video. These people are plagued by the fear that there is something inferior about them. They attempt to make the bad thoughts go away by committing acts of evil in a desperate attempt to delude themselves into thinking they are better. The reason why Engel committed suicide is because of the following logic: "If the police catch me that means I'm stupid! I'd rather die than be shown that I'm an idiot! The fact I'm willing to kill myself would also prove that I'm tougher than you! So therefore I HAVE to do it." That is why these criminals behave this way. The only effective therapy that can cure an inferiority complex is one in which the evil person makes peace with the possibility they might be stupid.
