@poohbearbaby2 ай бұрын
Honestly for The Run Got Next, I truly believe this game will succeed with amazing character creation. It will kind of struggle if there aren’t nba players in it. To counter it though, they should implement character creation and customization from head to toe which includes skin tone, height, body type(buff, skinny, fat, slim, etc), face presets or even detailed facial feature altering with sliders(cheekbones, chin, eye height, color and size, etc.) hair and facial hair, and clothing and accessories.
@poohbearbaby2 ай бұрын
Side Note: They absolutely must allow created characters of any height and size to put their attribute stats on any skill with no limit. For example a 6’8 player can have maxed ball handle and speed if they want, and a 5’10 player can have a max block and dunk. It’s an arcade game so it should not focus on realism due to what would make sense based on a character physical features, but it should appeal to every players dreams no matter if they are a girl, boy, short, tall, skinny, fat, etc. Plus we are in a new day and age where there are tall players irl who handle the ball extremely better than short players, and there are short players who jump higher, and do more crazier dunks than tall players.

For the spiritual sucessor, Got Next would be an excellent name. Maybe I'm over thinking a bit but imagine each game starts with one team winning the previous game. Then as they celebrate you hear "We Got Next" and each of the members on the new team have a short intro showing some flashy moves. Could be a good way to develop the original charceters and show their personalities. For additional game modes they could add 1-Up where you're scored on your combos you can make before you score a point. Maybe make it like the old Dunk Contest in 2K where you can add obstacles that increase difficulty but add to your final score. Most importantly bring back the Gamebreakers and replays. They might have to balance out how often and how powerful they are, sequences are iconic and need to make it into the next game.

Okay multiple things: 1. the nostalgia I got from this was intense. 2. Speaking of street hoops, please do a video on that one! Honestly, me personally, I think I liked that game even more than this one back in the day, which says a lot considering how much I played this game. (Sorry if you've already done a video on it. New here so I'll check the channel out after and see) 3. "Engine engine number 9..." that song still instantly pops in my head to this day as soon as I see that menu screen. And if i hear that songi instantly think of this game too lol. You're right. This game had a good soundtrack for the time! 4. This one is just a funny memory from this game for me. It probably won't be funny unless someone actually remembers the video im talking about... I remember there were videos you could watch on this game, and one that still stands out to me was the "inside vol.2 what's new in 2" where they go over all the new features in the game. Mainly the begining of the video because I had no clue who he was at the time. But bobbito garcia says something like "peace. It's me bobbito garcia, aka dj cucumber sliiiice!" But he just sounds so goofy how he says it lol. My brother and I would smoke weed and watch that video and laugh so hard at how he says it. We would quote it constantly throughout the day too. Literally had to go look it up on youtube after I started this video just for the laugh 😂 good times. Thanks for the nostalgia trip. I really needed it right now.

No matter how many times I hear this beat it gives me goosebumps. I put CRAZY hours into streets vol.2 as a kid. Never did that on any NBA game aside from Live 2003. To me those will forever be the two best basketball games EVER. ❤😊

Man when I was little my dad’s brothers would come over and they would all be in the bonus room playing NBA street. Once I was old enough to play video games I played the hell out of the first 2 games and would play 3 at a friends house. It’d be sick if they added NAB Street 1 & 2 as a playstation classic in the store I’d buy them in a heartbeat
