Christmas Eve, putting down milk and cookies on the kitchen table as a offering. Throw carrots outside for the "reindeer". Then you write your desired wishes on a piece of paper and put it on your Christmas tree. Make sure you go to bed before midnight. Then "Santa Claws" may come.

Rituals that do nothing beneficial and just summon an angry ghost/demon are so funny to me. "You gotta try this dude, it sucks!"
@Gaaraloverr12 жыл бұрын
The devil game ritual is so funny to me. “Don’t bring a cross or he won’t show up… but go into a church, which will definitely have crosses. Also, you gotta turn a cross upside down to summon him.” Bro, what? “He’ll answer your question truthfully, or as truthfully as he can - he isn’t omnipotent. But also, he knows stuff about you that even you don’t know about yourself.” How does that make sense? Even though some of these rituals are absolutely ridiculous, I love the video and enjoy hearing what folks have come up with :)
@nyekundaikonradish2 жыл бұрын
I thought that one was funny too since turning a cross upside down is actually just st. peter's cross and still a respected and holy symbol that a lot of horror movies get wrong lmao the whole ritual was sort of whack haha
@thedoomtestament45472 жыл бұрын
I always found these supposed devil summoning rituals to be pretty whack imo
@kyokoo14412 жыл бұрын
True, like its a church it has many crosses, turning one cross upside down probably wont summon the devil since theres many other crosses/holy things inside the building, so the ritual probably wont even work anyways 💀 I also still dont even get this ritual too like its jus confusing imo 😭
@BlackCroft6662 жыл бұрын
@@nyekundaikonradish To be fair many chrisitan communities see it as a devil sign, too. The same with pandagrams even though those are often build into churches, too. It is really how people perceive symbols first and foremost. One day the symbol is holy, the next day it is seen as evil.

My favourite ritual is this. 1. Go into the bathroom. 2. Wait until exactly 4:20AM 3. Yell "Amogus" at the top of your lungs 69 times. 4. If successful, shadowy creatures called mom and dad will beat you up and when you wake up, you'll wake up in an orphanage or mental asylum. A very scary ritual.

I have a sneaky suspicion that these rituals are convoluted by design. So the apparition on the other side kills the person. But we somehow manage to pull it off and get the “reward”. But the apparition is still salty or grouchy. That’s why during the closure of some rituals, they seem more hostile. Can’t wait for Part 2 🔥🔥

During this step a shadowy creature named "The Caregiver" will be running towards the bathroom with a spoon or belt at breakneck speeds. There is no reward for winning, so this one is only for the real thrill seekers.

This brought me back some memories, i used to watch a lot of ritual videos

I walk to mcdonalds backwards dressed in scuba gear, buy a mcdouble but i eat each layer individually, after that i empty a tube a toothpaste on the table an walk out the door, i reach into the nearby garbage can and i take the first piece of garbage i touch and approach customers at the drive thru and hand it to them either through their windows or place it gently on the hood of the car, at which point i begin to climb the mcdonalds sign for attention, once i get a decent crowd assembled i do the YMCA dance without any music, when the police arrive i have some hand selected poems about pets that i read to them on our way to the police station. its a ritual that stops people from shaking my hand

Ok I have a... I guess more of a psychology question about this? If some of these rituals are for good things, why would people write in the horror elements to them. Like the first ritual seemed like just some interesting maybe a bit extreme way to deal with emotions, but if that was the case why write in the stuff about bad luck following and trying to kill you? Are these like... symbolic acts or whatever that people just add the horror aspect to in writing for fun?
@Sacrow2 жыл бұрын
Most of the time it's a trade off. There has to be a risk for there to be a reward. The horror elements are what entice people to try them out. If you could just breathe on a mirror and break it with no consequences for good luck, everyone would do it. The trade off is what makes the story, and the ritual, interesting.
