Elina is great, the voice is amazing, but this version is still not perfect and not even the best live performance. I think Laura was the closest to the original, also Dimash's version was unique. Don't forget that this song is impossible to sing and even the original version was edited in a studio to make it perfect.

Never thought I would put these two names in the same sentence but Elina gives so much Gaga energy here in this performance (Applause VMA 2013; Observe the facial expressions). Truly phenomenal! I hope she does some pop songs one day too. She is a Popera (pop opera) singer, so just as she makes opera songs more pop, I would love to see her make pop songs more opera. I think there is a big change she will stick with the opera genre, more so than with the pop one

Best live rendition of this song. Back when the movie was released it was said to be impossible to sing because the track was a mix of multiple takes from a famous soprano, Inva Mula. Mula then sang it live to prove it could indeed be sung. But this is hands down the best version I’ve heard
