I love the colour grading of the video but for future reference, the overall brightness of the rendered video is very low.

color overlay is not grading, but what do we aspiring musicians know after all.

I make film shorts. Colour grading is fine. So is the lighting. :) It's a little non-standard for a YT video -- kinda flat. But nothing "wrong" with it. :). It's a look. :)

ok so side question haha: How are you liking the UA loadbox? Been debating picking up one. How much do you get vs full-on sims vs full-on cab tracking?

1. Sure, happy to give a price, but I need to know what the job is first. Otherwise, I can be promising weeks of work for $1 2. Never do that. Every track has to be unique, based on the needs of the song 3. Hmmm, we are here to do music, not discuss ways to smash avocado 4. Happy to listen to & discuss any articulated idea 5. Ok, but I'm not a recording studio 6. I communicate, but this only works if the client communicates ;-) 7. I do, but also got abused for being too formal. 8. This is a hard one but agreed 9. I do but again not a recording studio, Mix Set up is time too and if the artist wants to sit in, they will have the pleasure. BUT I will talk with them to help deepen the relationship. 10. This I do not do. Clients often do and I walk a careful line 11. Ok, I am not great with this, esp seeing I am somewhat open-air (tropics) 12. Learned this. Producas in Forumz are not relevant. Most sadly act like enemies. 13. Not super relevant but agreed. I prefer the act bring own cans. 14. Boundaries should be common good manners. I will say so if they cross. 15. Mostly I have to argue to get clients to take the session zip as I don't archive. 16. N/A 17. Never do, sadly people want these fantasies and not doing loses client work. Annoying but no loss. 18. I like to do this but sadly few want to engage which makes me sad. 19. I am a serious cat but music is my joy. 20. Never do. Music needs to breathe, that is time 21. I'm always nice. Sadly some think I am here to be bullied. They can leave. They never pay enough for their FAF. :-)

solid thoughts here!!! i do agree you need time to cook up a quote but it should take one conversation, not a whole three or four days!
