It happens too often that someone is treated for an obvious injury but ignoring a very serious problem that isn't so obvious. Thoroughness, thoroughness; it's the best doctors that understand the less obvious injuries but potentially deadly.
@anandtiwari526 ай бұрын
Habit of thoroughness should be very strong.

It happens alot because they focus on the little picture the "cheif complaint" as ems we are taught to step back dont just look at the foot if the patient complains of foot pain, something could be causing that or something else more serious could be going on.

It’s a term that army medics say frequently because they constantly have to improvise.

Honestly I think it's worse that a hospital doesn't have the equipment necessary for the procedure. You're a fucking hospital, you should be ready for anything because you don't know when a patient with that issue might show up. You gonna let them die because you didn't want to pay a few thousand extra to buy/maintain the equipment?

What people don’t realize is that there are so many times a day that black doctors nurses have to go through this. Her daughter who is having an asthma attack because the only person on duty at 2 AM was a black female doctor. I don’t know what happened to the little girl because the mom refused the care said she would go somewhere else else. Me sitting there with my own daughter I think at the time was nine years old watching this.. Unfortunately, when we teach our kids regular stuff like everyone else we have to include the fact that there are races out there who hate us all because of our skin color at the same time go to get a tan
