Hi Jane, I saw vids of some professional concert pianists and they seem relocate their body position quick on higher or lower registers, maybe it requires lots of practice.

Hi there, once you get the hang of moving your body in the right way, it becomes a whole lot easier and your movements become more efficient and connected. I've got an in-depth tutorial on "How to Move Your Body at the Piano": kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z3rXXqaqd6d-h5I which you're welcome to take a look at. 🙂 Cheers Jane

I'm using this DeWALT swivel chair : kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKXVhZ5ordikabM . It's handy, but I do not swivel on it, it's just good to swivel to the piano for a good start (to position yourself good behind the piano). But I understand your previous video about how to sit on a chair behind a piano. I can adjust the swivel chair in heigth. Instead of playing the piano, I play the Keytar too : then I am standing with a kind of a shoulder-piano. But that's also different to play on, look here : kzbin.info/www/bejne/q3_ZZ6GVZZuqZ5o . By the way, great swivel-video you have here :-)
