I've said it before, JT has the best boxing channel on youtube right now. Technical breakdowns, complete workouts, training videos, all stuff you would get from a personal coach given to you consistently. You can check other channels and watch their content, doesn't even come close. It's not just "how to" videos or those follow along workout videos, he really teaches you and gives perfect advice on how to get better. And like I said he's consistent, always delivering more videos.

Excellent lesson, Jason, thank you very much! :) Double/multiple-jab is probably the most misunderstood and/or misused fundamental technique in boxing: thank you for clarifying how and when to use it, and to what purpose. As always, the best no-nonsense, no-B/S coaching on boxing that one can find on KZbin. Peace from Bangkok! :)

Thanx coach this has been my bread n butter ever since 2018, busy upping my footwork now to get the double jab to be more effective.

JT's content is gr8! I'm currently paying for personal lessons from a pro boxer but I'm still learning a ton from this channel. I recently paid for the beginner lessons on this channel just to see if I could improve what I already know and I have learned sooo much already (just finished lesson 5) My coach would probably tell you I'm not beginner because we have been training almost a year now. Yet I have still picked up a ton of little techniques and tweaks that I applied to what I already know from JT's videos that have helped a lot! I would recommend this content to anyone who is serious about learning how to box and I would recommend even an advanced boxer to watch the beginner stuff because there are a lot of little gold nuggets in there that you may have missed in your previous training. Thanks JT keep up the Gr8 content brotha!!!

@Precision Striking I watched this video before sparring. I have been having trouble getting to the inside. I added the double and triple jab, even a pump like I'm going to jab let them react then throw the jab. This video helped me a lot. Thanks! Keep up the good work!

I have found the double jab very handy in a street fight. If you you give your opponent a quick double crack on the chin, they generally back down pretty quick without you having to throw another punch. They work out pretty quick they are up against someone who knows what they are doing.
@PrecisionBoxing2 жыл бұрын
I like that! thx for sharing

Double jab is really awkward for me, the weight feels all off. How much force goes in to the first jab, and then the second? Are you just trying to tap/make contact?

Nice setup, I use to try that Tyson double jab but it made guess which jab I add pop than power. Me being short, I always had better luck when the opp get use to the single.

How you liking those hit n move gloves havent pulled the trigger on a pair yet waiting for some long term reviews of them. Short term they seem pretty good from everything ive seen so far.
@PrecisionBoxing2 жыл бұрын
Man they are so good! They have the padding of a heavy hitter glove but light so I can let my hands fly. My fav so far, my second choice would be Rival Guerrero gloves.
@user-eb2kv7bg4t Жыл бұрын
one of the biggest mistake i've seen with beginners when they throw the double jab is that they rotate the hips( probably because they want more power) and because of this they end up jabing slow, very telegraphed too

Hey mister Jason..it's killing me, i got so much tech floating around my head, i cant remember if this one counter is viable. Orthodox vs Orthodox - slipping the opponents JAB with a lowslipping straight right underneath the opponents JAB? In otherwords a slipping cross counter from underneath? I could of swore I used to include this is my practice but I could see some problems with it. any ideas?
