At 13 I was a lil’ numetal blonde boy. I got the Wretched Spawn and hated it but religiously listened to it to force myself to like it. The making of dvd that came with it was a game changer. I watched it maybe 300 times. All these years later I fucking love Corpse and I’m so grateful for those torturous few months trying to swallow what at the time was frightening brown noise to me

@@cripplesunday1 I had a very similar experience with Napalm Death when I was even younger. I was 7 and Twist The Knife was on the Mortal Kombat soundtrack. Scared the shit out of me but I had to listen to it because that’s Goro’s song. Today, Napalm D is another band I love but it’s another example of something that took force feeding in the prepubescent stage

Man I've always been buzzed out by how humble CC is, considering their success. I've had people say that they "look like angry a-holes" (from people who don't listen to metal) and I've always had to respond with "nah man, don't judge a book by it's cover, they're some of the chillest people on earth".

Paul is a class act, with your last question about streaming, piracy, album sales. I think Cannibal Corpse have always put out the most perfect complete package. As a fan you want that CD album cover, you want to read the lyrics etc the thought that goes into the package is up there. While ever they continue to produce quality products I'll buy them over streaming any day of the week! I think I bought the last album twice to get both covers!!

I hate commercials and I understand that thanks to that this interview works. That's it. Drummer from the drummer show, that's how it should be. You will become a legend in my eyes if you bring to the show the drummer of the once number 1 Australian metal band Synthetic Breed. The metal world was asleep when they acted. It was a big mistake. It would be nice to see Carbomb's drummer as well. It's up to you to make the show, it's up to you to listen. In that, I definitely prefer shows from drummer to drummer.
