I had a moment recently where I sat down to play the piano and realized I had believed for a very long time all the negative messages my family and peers/teachers had told me. In that moment I thought “ I enjoy this and I am good at it!” Their messages have no power over me, I can choose to believe the truth or their lies. It comes from within. I really believe God spoke to my heart in that moment and gave me the confidence to see my ability.

I understand this lady’s dilemma. I moved from California to Colorado a year ago. This helped, distance can be a good thing. Mainly getting into an healthy/growth environment and away from the negativity. Certainly love Mom, but the negativity is not something I desire to be around. I

Tell me how i can let people know that i don’t appreciate them intruding into my space. They get mad at me because THEY INTRUDED AND DID NOT LIKE WHAT THEY SAW AND HEARD. THAT is NOT my problem. They came “uninvited”, and THEY need to respect MY BOUNDARIES. They have a free will and are free to exercise where they ‘locate’ themselves. I am in my own space…not theirs. “Woke, entitled” people want everyone they intrude on to make THEM feel comfortable, and to be responsible for their “feelings”….i DO NOT ACCEPT THAT RESPONSIBILITY. Thank you, Dr. Cloud.

Same here girl! Same here! My mom ALWAYS wants something to get my attention…If she had it her way I NEVER would of left home. I had to leave at the age of 17 cause I couldn’t take her anymore. I was feeling hopeless and suicidal. I “ran away” to church people but my mom tried to say they “took” me /us 4 kids…she was gonna write a book about the “church abuse”. She was never willing to be Evaluated either so she signed away her rights of my little sister instead when she was 14. Very heart breaking! All the siblings have taken turns trying and then end up not talking to her for periods of time. Obviously there’s a lot more that goes with the story but that’s just a snippet…

IM SO GLAD HENRY SHARED THE GOSPEL WITH THE WOMAN because guilt cannot be dealt with without the cross. the devil has people captive to fear of death......he accuses them day and night. to get free control of our mind we have to serve legal notice of eviction to the Devil and his accusations by being legally married to christ. he moves into our head to teach us truth and give us grace and freedom. he also is the model for free unconditional love.

Thanks for encouraging a separation of family and not honoring our parents. It’s a one way street after all. It’s not worth the bother to having kids because family isn’t what everyone used to think it was. To each it’s own.
