I think the best armour for defending against these dragons would be mail. the flexibility allows it to cover areas like the crotch, abdomen and armpits, which I think would be the most likely areas of attack for a gutbutcher. now this would give them more purchase to cling onto, but as for wether it can breat through steel rings, we use those when dealing with sharks, and they basically make you bite-proof. unless this small creature has a bite force higher than a great white, I think you´d be fine. the smoothed leather mentioned in the video I think would actually make a poor defense, as the acid is mentioned to be good at bypassing thick dragon hides, but not effecting metal that much. even stainless steel(which is much weaker than high carbon steel) would be enough, and it has the secondary benefit of being resistant to rusting and tarnishing. also, since it isn´t fabric, it wouldn´t soak itself in water and retain mobility, whereas leather armour requires at least some fabric or softer leather to be adhered to in order to be worn.
@frenkhorsky7633Ай бұрын
I'm actually reminded of an animal from medieval bestiaries. Hydrus, a water snake (but also depicted as a bird or a dragon) that was said to be found in the Nile River and hunted crocodiles by entering their bodies through their jaws to eating them from the inside. It's interesting how people tend to reinvent the same or similar creatures and concepts in their minds.

I just finished watching the Scarlet lasher and wailing bishop video as well... i see why your remaking em. The audio is quite poor. I must ask again though (bcs im an idiot) somr questions.. So, can scarlet lashers fly (im pretty sure they can). Can they breathe fire? And how fast can their tails whip? Cause like, it must be insanely fast for it to cut through meat. And the wailing bishop... ik it can fly, but, i dont think it can dly to high up into the sly right? Seems too big for it? Which he also wouldnt need since he tende to stay close to the ground... And about this terrifying bois... can they also fly? Or do they just use their wings to swim and leaps (if they fly id rather be dead than facing one) Great vid again man, keep it up. And sorry im too stupid to hear all details
