The fact all the parts are less expensive opens the hobby up to more pilots . I really like the way they are moving forward. You can now get higher quality components for a lesser price. I really like the new studio and the new format of dual reviews released back to back. Good on ya Stu !!

How long will the motors last? Emax does not recommend the 7500KV motors for 3s batteries. The 6000KV motors already get really hot with 3s.
@raymondwilliams68786 жыл бұрын
I run 1104 7500 iPower motors on a 2.5" setup using an iFlight frame. I did have problems at first with motors overheating and dying prematurely on 3s; however, after some reading I decided that a better tune might fix the problem. Basically, bringing my D gain down a bit helped tremendously with heat. This was around this time last year that I went through all this. In fact, I have no problems running 7500 on 3s these days. Fast and fun!

Love the videos Stu! I was wondering what budget components would you choose? I was thinking of just using the components from your $99 build but using the Flysky FS-A8S for the receiver and some different motors. I'm a newb and I think I like building as much as I flying. (still learning acro) Thanks in advance!

The props are in the wrong orientation? All of them..
@Sonic_Shroom6 жыл бұрын
Are those props on wrong or do the motors rotate opposite to usual.
@dronetrooperfpv78106 жыл бұрын
Sonic Shroom pretty sure he runs the motors reversed. I do also
@mshane866 жыл бұрын
I noticed that right away! Is there any reason for having them backwards?
@dronetrooperfpv78106 жыл бұрын
props are pushing away dirt and what not instead of pushing in toward the camera. If your quad gets stuck in a tree, the props are not pulling the stuck foliage inward. Some say it handles better
@Sonic_Shroom6 жыл бұрын
Drone Trooper FPV good points. Is that done through betaflight or blheli?
@dronetrooperfpv78106 жыл бұрын
Sonic Shroom No. You just tell betaflight that your running your motors in reverse by marking the tab. You can use the blheli software and flash your escs to run in reverse or desolder and switch two of the motor wires. for brushed motors just swap motor placement
