It was all about ME, ME, ME, with Jonathan and he also said to himself everyday since the day he met his amazing wife Sissy that, "I am going to hide the real ME, ME, ME, when it comes to telling Sissy about myself."" B/c she did NOT know the "real" Jonathan whatsoever, b/c if so, she NEVER would have married him even!!! And this was def. proven by the second she did find out about the "real" truth behind who her husband was, she was leaving & divorcing him, and he just couldn't handle it!!!! JUST SO DISGUSTING HE IS, ALL OF IT!!!!! SO HAPPY HE CAN'T HURT ANOTHER WOMAN EVER AGAIN IN SUCH A WAY! The Dads "we don't cry all day, but we cry everyday." That hit me like a brick.. He's completely accurate with his statement. From the minute you wake up till you fall asleep at night, and even in your dreams sometimes, you see your child, you miss them and they never leave the front of your mind. An unfortunate burden that comes along with this pain is the guilt, even when everything and everyone in the world says it wasn't your fault, as a parent you find everyway you could have stopped it, could have changed the outcome.. I do it everyday, most days I replay the night and morning over and over. Before my father passed, he too blamed himself, always saying if I just had you three stay at our house that night, he would still be here, even with us all knowing nothing would have changed the final outcome. I am thankful my son was not taken in such a brutal way and I send all my prayers and love to these parents. Watching the mother's video, I say those things to myself, but it's a little different, it's I'll never see your first day of school, I'll never see you graduate, things like that. Everytime I watch one of these and I listen to these parents I just want to squeeze them, and say how sorry I am and it's not their fault..

Victim impact statements in True Crime videos are so important because it is a reminder that they were known, loved, and will be forever missed. She's now married, and the mother of my two grandchildren, and the young girl's Momma's video just really tugged at my heart. I don't think that I could have been as strong in the video as she was, and when she almost cried, that got me. When you carry another human being inside you, you get to know that little person, and then when you gift that little person life, and watch them grow up, only to have someone do something horrific to them just doesn't seem real. I know that I would either be wanting to be where my daughter was, or I'd be finding a way to make this guy pay dearly, only my granddaughters would keep me sane, because they would need me to be there whole for them. I only wish that someone told her to leave after what he did to those 2 innocent Fur Babies for no reason, just to be evil, that she, or someone else could be next, and unfortunately she was. It always seems like the brightest light is snuffed out, while the darkness gets to roam free until hopefully it's caught. She's in heaven now, and I hope those Fur Babies were given to a better home. He was pure evil. I just had to add, to show how evil he is, he broke those precious, innocent Fur Babies backs twice, for no good reason, and there's no reason to do that, and put them through unmentionable pain, twice, and they're going to be in pain, and have problems with their little backs, for the rest of their precious lives, so if he could do that to 2 innocent Fur Babies, and we all know that some killers are sadistic too, and even kill innocent animals just because, so what's a innocent human life to them? He's beyond pure evil. If he had killed those poor Fur Babies, and NO!, I am not saying that should have been done at all, but if he had, that would have been a kind act for a monster like him, and he couldn't do it, so he had no problem killing a promising human being, with her whole life ahead of her, and then mentally torturing her parents.

“So yea, um….. basically I drove around Staten Island all morning into the afternoon. At the very least it was SIX! different stores, 5 shoe stores, 1 Home Depot. Funny thing is I didn’t like anything changed my mind and never bought anything…… so after a mid morning movie by myself because that’s totally normal. Aside from that I wasn’t very productive and to be honest I really haven’t done a MF THING since I my wife sleeping at home first thing this am”. Oh…..??? What??? Doesn’t that seem like it could have maybe happened? It could have really happened just like I told you.

This story was told so very well especially for her husband being such a worthless pos!!! I only hope to half as great as Sissy or her incredible parents! I’m so sorry for their horrific loss and all the pain they habitually feel but I must applaud how well they are doing it and as a husband and wife! God Bless Sissy and the Mapes family....

Much respect to her mother, making sure that POS can't have anything he wants even though he's in prison. Her calling about his "ad", good on her.

What a bright light she brought into the world. Imagine the love she would have spread in her life. Her time was cut short by a cowardly act and everyone else is so much worse off. So horrific.

He broke his dogs backs??? That’s horrifically foul knowing that dogs love unconditionally. My dog gyrates on my nerves sometimes but I’d willingly suffocate before I’d break his back.

The dogs are what you're focused on?🙄 People and dogs these days... Of course it's horrifying and sad, but they aren't PEOPLE like Simonette was!
@CC42_2 жыл бұрын
Why are you making his comment into anything other than what it was? As if a poor dog getting it's back broken isn't fucking awful and sad. How does that comment take anything away from the tragedy of the woman's murder? You sound like you have a complex and just couldn't handle someone focusing on an animal. As if they shouldn't matter compared to "a real person". Get over it!

Please shut up Karen, you can acknowledge both, can’t stand you weirdo people who literally get jealous because someone shows empathy to animals.

Isn't there a joke about how if a guy puts on his profile that he's 6' he's actually 5'10" and if he says he's 5'10" he's actually 5'8"? I guess 5'10" wasn't good enough for him

Simonette was a literal Saint! She helped so many people in her short life. I wish she never met Jonathan. She deserved a world better than him. If someone harms your furbabies get out then. Anyone who could do something so horrible to a precious dog is capable of much worse.

First off, my heart goes out to Simonette and all her loved ones, especially her parents. What a true loss to this world. As for the monster who did this, he should have been held accountable for breaking the backs of the dogs! I hope he is miserable every single day of his life!
