My story True I'm from Boston so is my wife my family from Ireland 🇮🇪 ❤ unfortunately my siblings couldn't care less about me. But I took care of my father he did not trust doctors. He went naturally. Thanks for the response 👍

@brian kearney I have been scapegoated by the other siblings. They have nothing to do with me. I don't feel shocked or sad any more. They were all either incredibly selfish or extremely abusive or both. It has worked out good really. I am very caring and empathetic. I have put up with shocking behaviour. I really love bring the scapegoat. I cared for my parents intensely for many years. My sisters were jealous of my very close bond with my parents and how much I was trusted. I am also a truthteller and am a lot more srlfreflective and spiritual. I love being a caring person and no longer have to struggle through all their lovelessness and abuse. I am truly content from what I did for our parents. And because I can forgive things people can hardly believe, I am truly free. I just hope you feel that you aren't missing out on much. I know I'm not. This song here is lovely. All the best, from New Zealand. Aroha.

I was born in the 70s and The Dubliners will always be the band I will think of if I think of Ireland (and I am not in any way connected to that island). They were a legend. Not to take away from other bands before and after, but they showed the world what Irish music is all about: the good and the bad, the drinking and the crying, the dancing and the fighting, love and death...all rolled up into a few minutes of mournful and yet beautiful and uplifting song (or happy, yet depressingly themed reel). I will have to visit the Land of Green one day, possibly before meeting ya all on Fiddlers Green^^

By a lonely prison wall I heard a young girl calling "Michael, they have taken you away! For you stole Trevalyan's corn So the young might see the morn Now a prison ship lies waiting in the bay!" Low lie the fields of Athenry Where once we watched the small free birds fly Our love was on the wing, we had dreams and songs to sing It's so lonely 'round the fields of Athenry By a lonely prison wall I heard a young man calling "Nothing matters, Mary, when you're free! Against the famine and the crown I rebelled, they cut me down Now you must raise our child with dignity!" Low lie the fields of Athenry Where once we watched the small free birds fly Our love was on the wing, we had dreams and songs to sing It's so lonely 'round the fields of Athenry By a lonely harbor wall She watched the last star falling As the prison ship sailed out against the sky For she'll live and hope and pray For her love in Botany Bay It's so lonely 'round the fields of Athenry Low lie the fields of Athenry Where once we watched the small free birds fly Our love was on the wing, we had dreams and songs to sing It's so lonely 'round the fields of Athenry Low lie the fields of Athenry Where once we watched the small free birds fly Our love was on the wing, we had dreams and songs to sing It's so lonely 'round the fields of Athenry

Some were hung and the lucky ones were transported to America (before it gained it's Independence) and then to Australia.
