Now a days they just claim everything is fake and a witch hunt 😂 like bruh you aren't in a small town civil court you're in a federal courthouse... clearly you have committed some serious crimes and there is at least a serious enough amount of evidence against you, otherwise it would have been dropped with appeals (not naming names but someone who loves appeals/suing people & extending out court cases for years cough cough should get this but his base doesn't) Yes innocent until proven guilty but it ain't looking good boss, especially with the amount of evidence against him, treasonous piece of poo! Both he and James Best made clear requests concerning things on the show, especially after it was discovered that the show was drawing a huge audience of children. Booke insisted there were to be no drugs, and a line drawn in the storylines where the the two sides would help each other if need be. Best insisted that his Roscoe character be toned down into a funny semi-bad guy who would at times be shown to do the right thing...so that kids would never be afraid of police officers. He also requested that after every car crash, the other participants would slow down to see if the other was ok...or help/rescue if need be.

Weed IS bad. Not AS bad as your heroin but, it's still bad. Bad enough to be classified as a Schedule I controlled substance. Drugs with a high potential for abuse and addiction. They are unsafe to use even under medical supervision. The Controlled Substances Act classifies drugs based on their potential for abuse and addiction. Using marijuana affects your memory, learning, concentration, and attention, leading to difficulty with thinking and problem solving. Think driving. Like how you can't legally drive while on the influence of alcohol because the alcohol affects your brain and make you dangerous to operate an automobile, weed has a similar effect. I work with a dude who smokes weed and he CANNOT be taught how to PROPERLY do his job, which makes MY job/life harder than it needs to be. His mind is too influenced by the weed he smokes to pay proper attention and remember. I'm not against experimenting with marijuana for POTENTIAL medical benefits but, there isn't enough medical benefits that we know of ATM (which is why the Federal Government still has it classified as a schedule 1 controlled substance) and honestly, it should be turned into a prescription pill or something instead of handing out a card and bag fulls of the drug like they do now in, "legal" states.

Whatever Boss Hogg's faults were, he had a good side. And there were some things he would not do. (Make a dishonest quick buck, yes. But allow someone to be hurt, no.) In a Coy/Vance episode, his good side really came out when he dumped one of his plans, even though it meant losing a lot of money because he had to drop everything and help save a kidnapped Uncle Jesse.

@DUCKDUCKGOISMUCHBETTER2 жыл бұрын
@@thomasshort1784 Exactly. And even though the potheads, and their sober "Surrenderist apologists" who make excuses for them, don't want to admit it, the smell ALONE is, by definition, the illegal act of putting narcotics into the bodies of people who don't WANT narcotics in their bodies. This is going to be a prosecuted criminal offense AND civil damages legal issue before very long. The smell cannot be divorced from the act of forcing damaging narcotics into an unwilling victim who has EVERY right to be wherever they want to be, and to not expect that even a single molecule of narcotics is put into their bodies. They want to call it "medicine" (it isn't), but they want to pretend it is. But they don't want to acknowledge the fact that you can't put your "medicine" into someone else, whether they want it or not. It is illegal, even if the other person wants it, and even more so if they don't! If I gave my Lipitor to someone, I would be breaking the law! And even more so if I forced Lipitor down their unwilling throat! Potheads can't have it both ways! But at the heart of it, pot cannot, and inherently CANNOT pass the strict FDA approval process. No plant can. Plants aren't eligible for consideration as medicine for serious scientific reasons. That's why they try to skate under FDA law by calling it "medical" rather than "medicine". They are smarmy, slimy, dissembling, slippery, word WEASELS! Boss Hogg nailed them EXACTLY!

Both Booke and Best had moral stipulations added into their contracts once it was apparent that the show was gaining a large audience of children. “Boss Hogg” stipulated no drugs, and no killings or murder. “Roscoe stipulated that his character quickly be toned down to be more comic than sinister so that children would not be afraid to approach a police officer should the need arise. He also stated that in any of the various car crashes that took place, the other party involved in the chase must at least slow down to see if the other was ok. Both stipulated that despite the Duke/Hogg rivalry, there must be mutual respect and aid given towards each other when needed. Rivalry for stories, no hatred.
