@@aimelilithe Zip it, 3rd worlder. If you had bought this DVD set or seen it all, you'd know that Donald Fagen introduced her when he went through naming the band. She's a backing singer that was unfortunately given a moment in the spotlight, ruining it for me. There is tons of talent worth mentioning before her but you dont see anyone else crying about it, do you? It's always some crybaby woman wanting more than everyone else. Go play with rope.
@mitchgawlik1175

Ms. Monet didn't take it to the street, she took it over the top. There is such a thing as too much "soul". I can understand the desire for a gospel sound but sometimes it's taken too far. The tune, the band, you couldn't ask for more.

The Doobie Brothers along with Michael McDonald were as soulful with their music that made a crossover into R&B as well as Pop culture. They were pioneers of producing great music that touch many people diverse cultures 🎶 🎶 🎵 🎶

27 years old, this is one of the best songs I’ve ever heard, music is NOT like this at all anymore, I listened to Otis Redding back when I was a boy. Wish I was born in the 60’s

I had the opportunity - twice - to see the Dukes in a fantastic outdoor venue in Northern Virginia. Both shows were fabulous. I am so grateful to be able to add these shows to my wonderful memories of seeing Steely Dan's first reunion tour in 1995.
