In my home town of Ottawa, Canada, I heard that it's technically illegal to eat ice cream outside on Bank Street on Sundays, but I think that law is almost never enforced and probably even a lot of Ottawa cops don't know about that. On OC Transpo (Ottawa's public transit service), apparently, it's against the transit by-law to operate any camera or recording device (also not really enforced). I do that basically all the time. Ottawa also has an uncancelled law that says you can't have your cows on Bank Street between certain hours of the day. This law is from the early 20th century when there were cows being sold in a pavilion in the Glebe. In Kanata, a suburb of Ottawa, I heard that it's illegal to paint your garage door purple (This is probably, however, from pre-amalgamation.). In Singapore, it's apparently illegal to chew gum.
