Line them up so smough attacks you at the edge of his attack radius. This way you can just backpedal out of his attacks. Use your regular method of avoiding ornstein's attacks, and exploit openings. Also, ornstein doesn't have very high poise, so greatswords used at the correct range can keep you fairly safe. Master the zoning and positioning game, to cheese the AI, and overcome. GL bro.
