I started a pillow cover with this type of yarn. I got several inches done and couldn’t really see the stitches well and the sides started looking wonky so I didn’t finish it. With the method you are showing, I think I can do it now! Thank you, Robin. Your tutorials are the best! 😍🧶

I've been crocheting for 50 years &, even though I love the looks of finished projects, I've been avoiding this yarn like the plague because of the aggravation of working with it after making a pom pom on a gnome's hat on an afghan. I think now, thanks to you, I'm going to give making an afghan out of it a try...when I can afford the yarn that is.

I remember the first time I used faux yarn I had to restart my project like 50 times then I did the absolute tedious thing and started stitch marking every single stitch until I got the hang of it. It was a big pain in my ass but it made me learn quickly because I was getting annoyed with using 100 stitch markers. I ran out of stitch markers at one point and was using safety pins bobby pins binder clips anything that helped me see where my stitches were. Good times. Now I know how to feel for them or use a guide yarn which is usually my first choice. Thanks for the amazing video with equally amazing advice ❤❤

You are my absolute crochet hero! I bought a mystery bag from lion brand as a gift to myself for the holidays three years ago. In it were 3 skeins of faux fur yarn, which initially I was excited for. Then realizing I already have a hard time working with black yarn, I wondered to myself how on earth I was going to be able to use the faux fur. It has been sitting in its original package since. Thanks to you I can actually attempt to use it for homemade Christmas stockings!!! Thank you Thank you Thank you, Robin!! 🙏🏼❤🦸🏻♀

Legitimately thinking about maybe frogging my entire project up until now, and using this method... I had never chrochet before, and obviously just HAD to use this yarn... Only to end up really, REALLY frustrated in the beginning. Found a way to make it work (somehow), but this just seems... way easier, and faster...? My blanket is big as well, 150 cm by 120 cm, already somehwere between 20-30 cm along (on the 150 cm side, lol), soooo... really doubting whether or not I should just restart, lol
@PKlovesDW2 ай бұрын
Okay, maybe I shouldn't be doing something so drastic quite yet... I guess I'll make a test like this as well, and see which one works better! If this is faster and easier, I'll frog it, and use this method!
