i bought the same case few weeks ago and i put i9 14900k and rtx 4090 msi ventus, its running fine temp sometimes goes to 100c when game is loading but afther that it comes to 80s, 4090 is quiet and very well cooled, only think what is really annoying are their fans they are very loudy, the fans from power supply are horrible doing 100% in slightly small load, i replaced them with noctua 92mm silent 15mm fans, and other 2 case fans are replaced by noctua fans.

Wow that’s quite a load with a 14900 and 4090! Yeah I bet the fans get loud, what is it like now you have put noctuas in? With my 88w cpu and 250w gpu load fans don’t really kick up much so I don’t notice the fan noise or I would also swap out for noctua

I’ve heard complaints of psu noise, but this pc case literally is perfect for my room. Any thoughts? Can’t watch the whole video right now because I’m at work… sorry if this has been brought up.

I was worried about teh noise about the PSU from reports on reddit. There is a little noise, I am not sure if it is from the PSU or the pump but it is not annoying or loud. Dont get me wrong, I am sure my SF850's are quieter (well they seem almost silent) but this certainly isnt bad, especially for the price I paid (cost me £20 more for this entire case than just an SF850 in the UK)

@ so should I get it for my room? I play with headphones when I play with friends, but with speakers when I’m by myself.

I reckon so. Make sure you adjust the fan and pump speed in BIOS to you liking (on the ASRock I set it to silent mode for fans and performance for pump speed, this is great for quiet idle noise and I get about 37db in gaming which is just a whoosh). If you need any help just give me a shout :)

I have this case. It's quiet, especially if you tweak around with fan and pump settings, to optimize them for your workflow/needs. It might be I upgrade the PSU, pump, and fans at some point, but there's no need really for now: never bothered by the noise, and since I make music I do recordings in the same single room apartment all the time, with really sensitive mics. Not had an issue once. So if noise is your only concern. Go for it. My only problem with this case (which I otherwise love), is the custom AIO radiator, for which there is no replacement (at least there wasn't when I bought the case). Makes me worry about longevity a bit.

sorry mate, I didnt see that comment. MY favourite board is the Asus ROG B650e-i but if you are on a budget the Asrock b650i lightning I used here is a solid choice

The only cons I have found is the audio is more premium on the Asus (better realtek chip and better pre-amp) and teh BIOS looks a bit dated compared to Asus otherwise its an amazing board

I wanna do a mini ITX build so bad, but my components are kinda monsters.. RTX 4090, 5950X.. And my next CPU soon will not be much less than that..

It’s still possible but you need careful case selection. I am always impressed with what I can fit in my Dan a4 h2o and it’s tiny

There was plenty of headroom so no issue with 125w CPUs. I imagine Intels 250w CPUs will struggle like the 13900 or 14900, those really need a 360 AIO

i just sold mine, after one year let me TLDR my review: terrible PSU, noisy and with no 0RPM mode, after it crosses the threshold its always on ->replaced it with a SF750, oh my what a difference fans also noisy ->replaced both for noctua ones, much better top mesh started making really annoying vibration noises after 2 months -> that was the sell sign!!! case is really easy to build on but with a 120mm AIO, even thicker than normal, could be a bottleneck for some CPUs (simply forget new Intels) GPU space is amazing its a beautiful case but with a lot of issues, since its made with a purpose of keeping it side by side with the monitor, the overall noise from the box its just not tolerable for me
