Any size jar will work but it's best to have the jar nearly full so there's little space for air. Also, think about how much bait you will want to have when you open a jar. Thanks for the sub!

Quick question, are the eggs put in the refrigerator during the 8-12 curing process?

In the fridge is good. Make sure to have a sealed container. Any smells in the fridge will be absorbed by the roe.
