I recently saw you on an add for drip depot, I’m glad that you cross promote, I just bought the drip irrigation kit from hoss , but the drip depot injectors are about half the price, I still don’t understand how these things work when you have about 10 - 100 foot rows, but I guess the fertilizer makes it all the way through the system, and my main problem is blossom end rot on my tomatoes so I would be using it for that, thank you

Thinking about getting one of these for my garden. It’s about 20,000 sq ft total area I have to use multiple regulars and do split areas with them. I run 10 rows then 10 more so on and so forth. What size would y’all recommend since I have this set up?

Has your company considered engineering a bladder in the tank, so that the product is not diluted as it's dispensed? As it is every gallon of mix out the end of the hose is more dilute than the previous gallon. The first gallon is quite concentrated and the last bit out of the tank is nearly all water - very little product in the mix. To me this makes the product essentially useless for any automated feeding. It might be OK for manually watering with a hose as you can go over the area multiple times, ending where you started. If the dilution is linear and you're careful with the application, and if you can time it perfectly, then all areas just might get equal amounts of product.

I understand what you're saying about it being more diluted over time. But the same amount of fertilizer is being applied regardless of the dilution, so it really doesn't matter. If put 5 lbs of 20-20-20 into the tank and run it until it's clear, I have just put 2 lbs of N, P, K on my garden -- regardless of dilution. You can make it as complicated as you'd like, or you can just assume that everything you put in the tank gets delivered to the area you are fertigating.

@@gardeningwithhoss I agree - the same amount of product is being delivered, just in a constantly varying ratio of water to product. That might be OK if delivering via a drip system to an unchanging 'target'. But, if I'm using a hose to water a lawn, for example, then the areas that I water first will get more product. (This assumes that I water all areas of the lawn with the same amount of solution)

If you're hand-watering, yes. If you're using a sprinkler, you're going to be wasting fertilizer and applying it to areas that don't need it.

How much would you use for three lines two for onions and one for a double row of beets and each line can be shut off individually also would you add micro boost with the fertilizer

2 cups 20-20-20 per 10 ft. row and yes you can mix the micro boost in with the fertilizer.

When I read up on it , it says any disc will make it inject more fertilizer...so like the tighter the disc the more fertilizer she will draw ....

Depends on the number of emitters/flow per hour of your drip line. I use a drip tape with 1/2 gal/hr at each emitter, spaced at 12". So 100' of tape gives me 50gal/hr per line. Per Ezflo: Use NO disc for 120gal/hr and over. Use largest hole disc for 60-120, medium hole disc for 30-60, and smallest hole disc for 30 and under.

Just wondering, I use that injector, but I’m having problems emptying it in a short time. I am using 60’ rows but only one to 3 lines at a time. There is not enough water volume to pull the fertilizer out? Looking for a solution?

Looks like I may have to try another disc. I added the twenny twenny twenny and And still the injector and rest of the way with water. I had it running for 3 hours nothing going through the clear line in the fertilizer still in the tank

Take the total feet of drip tape you have in your garden and multiply it times .24. That will give you the output of your system in gallons per hour. You can then use the chart in the EZ-FLO manual to determine which disc you need based on that output.

The injector is placed upstream of the filter/pressure regulator on the drip system. The injector sits at the faucet, between the spigot and the water hose that runs to the garden to supply the drip system.

Not per instructions: "When possible the hose bib adapter fitting (the injector connection point) should always be the last component installed in any configuration. Timers, filters, & pressure regulators should not be installed after the hose bib adapter."

Can I use this product to introduce fertilizer through a soaker hose?

Don't see why not. The problem is going to be that the water output from the soaker hoses is hard to measure. With the injector, you have to insert the correct flo-disc (included) based on the water output of your system.
