Great video...your presence is very positive. I'm 54 and in the past couple years was discouraged to stop highlighting my hair and let my natural sparklies come in. Also, the big push away from eyeliner for mature women is unfortunate and your technique is proof of that. Thank you so much for your attitude toward aging, as it should be celebrated, not everyone gets the opportunity to do so.

Hi Nicole , thank you so much for caring about us older ladies . I just turned 77 in November. I finally let my hair go natural, it’s kind of like yours it has silver and black. 50 is a major turning point in aging. Not 40. That's why I don't agree with lumping 40s with 50s. My aging kicked off seriously between 48-51. Up until 47, I was not very different from 18, just a more mature version, but always myself. Now, I see changes that are of a completely different nature. Sag, laxity, the decay of aging.

Im 69 and I found out accidentally that collegen really does work. I was following a video forever video producer that I had been watching for some time and they started selling collagen and I thought well maybe I'll try that because of the pain in my legs and muscles and joints and it might help well I went to the health food store got the college in that has I believe it's all five something-or-other and it's fairly expensive for the supplements but I started taking them and it didn't do much of anything for what it was supposed to do for your muscles and joints but wow I mean within the next day I saw the difference in wrinkles drastic drastic difference know maybe it was just me I doubt it I literally look ten years younger just taking the supplements and they want you to take I believe it's -6 of the pills a day and I got cheap because they are fairly expensive 40 bucks for a bottle anyways I started taking just three and just the three work

Love watching your videos. I have learned a tremendous amount. I have tissue paper skin under my eyes that will peel and be flaky. The Baby Skin primer helps some. I have seborrhea On the bridge of my nose in between my eyebrows pretty much under control. Lines around my lips a little redness at my nare. Your suggestion about Wet and Wild concealer was wonderful. But anytime I put a foundation on it feels like goop and makes me look older. I’m going to be 72 shortly and I’m going to have to invest in some of your products. Thank you for doing this for older women. I appreciate the fact, also, that you go to extra expense to yourself to test different products so your viewers know if it’s a waste of time. Many of the ladies that watch I’m sure are on a tight budget and your opinions are most helpful.

I love how she says "over 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90"... Old age is the longest period of our lives! You could potentially have a 40-year old, her mother, grandmother and even great-grandmother doing anti-aging together!😆

Nikol - thank you so much for this. I will be 70 on New Years Eve this year. Ten years ago I stopped wearing makeup and I think I would like to wear it again, but I’ve forgotten how and it doesn’t look as natural as I would like. Three years ago i let my hair go silver, white and charcoal. I recently got it cut like yours. Its not as thick as yours, but I watched your video on how to get more volume, and it worked amazingly well. Thank you so much for all of your tips. You are the soul of elegance. 💖

Yes! I don’t mind duel brushes. In fact, I like them in the sense that they save space. The problem is unless you store them horizontally, one end is going to get smooshed. I see that your new duel ended concealer/lip brush has a cap on one end and retracts on the other! Thank you!💗

I was fortunate because I worked for Clinique when I was 22-23. I’m now almost 58 & my skin still looks good. I can’t stand not to exfoliate but it’s less intense now that I’m older. I use baby oil to remove my makeup, then I use face cloths to cleanse it off or tissue it off. Cetaphil is the best cleanser.

Ok Nikol, this is a perfect example of how much you have to offer. I have used the very bad eye shadow technique of applying it “after” I apply my foundation. Today it all changed and I watched this video while I applied my makeup…uh double duh 🙄 your technique really did make a difference on the “lifting” of my eyes. Holy cow 🐮 why was I being so lazy. I'm 85 and watching your videos for new tricks for the aging face. Personally I prefer to run a eyelid with a fine either green or navy eyeliner UNDER the upper lashes. As the color 'runs' slightly into the eye it washes into the inner corner, leaving an almost imperceptible line. Another thing I now do is run just a little bronzer under the jaw to cover that sagging pouch we all get. No one is the wiser, but it just tightens up the jawline. Keep up the great work, Nikol, I use several of your products, and buy the recommended ones from the drugstore, too!

Decades ago, in my early 20’s in Paris I met an 80 y/o woman who looked not a day over 45. She told me that she’d had a compounding pharmacist make sunblock moisturiser for her since she was a young woman, well before SPF in makeup was a thing. I’ve used sunblock religiously since then and was mistaken for 35 well into my 50’s. Unfortunately, gravity eventually wins 🤷🏻♀️. For young women out there, use SPF every day. It really makes a difference. (Also, no skin cancer, which is nice.)
