Kind of like a Lifetime Movie. Why is he writing goodbye letters when he's only 4-5 hrs in an elevator on a Saturday knowing people will beu back in the office on Monday? Who did the wife never drive to the office, get access to the building to see if something happened to him in the office? And the secretary should have told the wife, he was the only one left in the building.

EMTs are authorized to give oxygen in ambulance. Victim was suffocating in elevator. Hyperventilating, no air conditioner, food water. He wrote to family realizing his quick decline. The other tiny details were not what the movies message was about. Great movie. Since his entrapment was brief, he snapped back quickly. Great movie.. ❤😊❤😊

I like Eric Roberts, he played a good role in this movie, so did Matt. Sorry to say, but the wife was not that good an actress, and the kids were too obnoxious and bratty. Lol. The film is based on a true story, which makes it even better. Scary situations like this can happen, like being stuck on the 22nd floor, like I was 10 years ago, for an hour or so. All 6 of us were nervous, but stayed calm. Thank goodness we were fine, and went home with a, "Guess what happened to me today"?! story. 😅👍🙏

Julia Roberts had a sister named Nancy. She was just a regular person. Julia was mean to her esp because Nancy had a weight problem. Nancy died and Julia spoke at her funeral being very mean and rude about it. Eric had some problems in his younger days drank too much and did some drugs. He's straightened up and is great today. Has had a successful marriage. I think Julia thinks she's better than her siblings and has judged them when that isn't her job to do so.

I don't know the reason, but you can get stuck in a stairwell as well. Many secured buildings require a key to access the floor. Not good if you left yours on the desk and everyone has gone home for the day.

I really enjoyed this film. Very well made. It's based on a true event. I do remember when I was stuck in elevator even just for 2 hours. I was furious and was breathless. I can imagine his situation, he had to attend his daughter's birthday party, heart touching film. I had tears in my eyes. I watched it twice and both time i cried. It's a family movie. Thank you to the producer who is showcasing this amazing film FREE for us.

A really heart warming story. Love is a Powerful thing. I want to Punch a woman who said only people with families could get this. There are all kinds of family and those who are blessed to have a perfect tv style family are rare not the norm. Those who love you , stand by you and who you sometimes take for granted because you think they will always be there may one day not be. Whom ever your persons who are your family to you . This is a reminder of what a gift you have and that we are not given a guarantee or Promise that those we love will not meet a tragic fate or avert one. Miracles can happy every day. This movie shows what love can do . Miracles come with love and The time to cherish people is when they are here. Many forget that. I Think this was well done and a good reminder to cherish that which matters most. Eric Roberts was this movie hands down. He is so talented.

If it was so bad why did you watch till the end. There are many movies that I hit the X on because of stupid plots and artificial, clipped, speech that's supposed to be cute and clever. I'm a nurse but the story did not require medical details. Part of the meaning of the story is what priorities do we have in our lives, which comes across very well in this movie.

My sister lives in a 70 year old apartment building, and the moment you step into the elevator, the phone cuts off. If you have a little mechanical skills, you can pry open the doors with your fingers. Otherwise get some rest and wait for help. This could take all weekend long, hardly enough time to be dying.

The kids are not brats. They are real. I grew up with 5 brothers and a sister. There's passion here -- emotions are deeply felt by each of the kids in the way of kids and by each parent in the way of loving adults. In this movie we see family highs and lows amid the constant irritations of daily life. Nobody in the family has perverse intentions. I loved the reactions and dialogue shown in the situations of the story line. So many examples, but one is the dad's behavior in the elevator. I kept thinking, "that's what I'd say and do if I was stuck in an elevator."

The ONLY good actor was Eric Roberts (and the boy that plays his son). He's always been a fantastic actor. I thought the letter to his wife when he thought he wasn't going to make it, was genius.

Absolutely the most pathetic movie I have watched. Bad acting, really bad. Bad script, directing, no basis in reality as to how emergency services and hospitals work. Woeful 😂

My God how do people end up so stupid. The first things my children would say is I hope he’s not been in an accident. They certainly wouldn’t be throwing fits. The young man seems to be the only one in the family who had his head screwed on straight. At least he called the parking garages. A dude knows he the only person in the building till Monday so why is he screaming.

People that complain how all the actors are awful except for Eric need to think about it for a minute. This isn’t a box office film. The actors are acting accordingly to a low budget film. Eric should be in the box office but clearly prefers low budget films. Whether it’s because of how so much bs happens with A list actors films or he prefers being with grounded people. Who knows.
