Absolutely loved this book and the narrator was fantastic . I don't understand why so many horrible movies are made when wonderful stories like this exist ready to make millions and millions of dollars .
these "wonderful" stories are done every day, you don´t need a movie - just look around (look to see), just to start with spanics (i´m on the begin) - jesuits ... and jeff is very like a jesuit boi ... just like onan doyle and so many

Great story. The oligarchs who run this world and their apparatchiks are inhuman monsters. We humans’ lot is to provide them with material wealth.

Patriot Act secures these oligarchs in perpetuity, not that the law was ever much obstacle to FBI or CIA directors. Only thing I didn't like about the book at this time (2022) is it's Democrats running amuck even more than Republicans.

A standard "CIA & the Russians are the bad guys" story. But the constant idolization of the "heroic & patriotic" main character is pretty nauseating. And for all you hero worshippers the main character is an assassin killing random and mostly innocent people at the behest of the paranoid psychopathic CIA Director. So not much to love about him either

Why suddenly all of these audiobooks. Not quite the right venue, but free publishing. Some are hard to use, like Roughing It, and others are not on Libby or other free venues which pay for the material. Is this the right format for audio only when everything is so visually focused. Very strange.

Some stories have great organic mysteries involved, things unknown even to the main characters on the pages until discovered later. Other stories are just concocted mysteries, things that the author just refuses to reveal to keep the reader in the dark. Initial impression is that this novel is one of the latter, but I'll give it a fair listen for a bit.
