This is a bit late, but I just caught up on the show lol. Jimmy is a lot more slick and manipulative than he appears imo. He was incredibly disrespectful towards Chelsea throughout the process, both in what we see and the stuff Chelsea’s mentioned being edited out. I’m guessing he probably got nervous that she would ‘correct the record’ at the reunion and that’s why he reached out to mend things with her right before. Honestly, I was right there with all the Team Jimmy people until the reunion and now hearing Chelsea’s experiences on these podcasts. Paints a completely different picture. And I find Chelsea to be a lot more reliable than Jimmy, who thought it was ok to lie about Jessica and portray her as an angry woman who stormed out on him after 10 minutes, when she did nothing of the sort. The fact that men were sending death threats to Chelsea and Jimmy didn’t own up to his behavior and shut all that nonsense down… is wild

update: i keep coming back to her blaming both Jimmy and the edit for what appeared to occur. it really smacks a inability to own what happened on her end. which happens to match what we see onthe edit of the show I do feel for her in that she seemed to have twisted herself into knots to make something work that seemed so painful. It seemed on air and continues to seem that she wanted Jimmy to change into this person who would be the right fit (the person who he seemed in the pods to her) instead of seeing him for the wrong fit and acting accordingly. He seemed extremely avoidant and emotionally constricted which will always make someone with "big feelings" appear like the are comparatively unhinged. So here in the interview is something that I think people talk about with her. the idea that one can have a perspective that isn't "right" but yours. in this interview she keeps on talking about appropriate boundaries as the key for boy-girl friendships but appropriate is a relative term and it important to acknowledge there isn't just one way to determine what appropriate is. Clearly her idea of appropriate is not what Jimmy's was and that is ok. she continues to paint her idea of appropriate as what should be considered generally acceptable.

I honestly believe that jimmy wasn’t physically attracted to Chelsea , his body language was off you could see in his face once they were revealed to eachother that in his mind he made a mistake. Even the small comments he made about her physical appearance, you have to really pay attention to understand! His body language and the way he talked to Jess at the river, was more intimacy than I ever seen the whole show between him & Chelsea. Once he seen what he passed up on he mentally checked out. I would be comfortable with someone like jimmy because it takes me a long time to get used to physical affection and compliments, but I have been with people more like chelsea and I would have handled them VERY different from what jimmy did. I never felt like eighter of them were bad people from the edit, i just saw attachment styles that didnt work together and usually when that happens we bring put the worst in eachother. As a friend going into this, I knew I was going to be a bit bias but I still made sure to ask the questions people were asking in FB groups, IG and TikTok. The main reason was like you said no focus on pressing them and the camera only showed one side of Chelsea. I’m sure Jimmy will get to share his story over time. Thankfully AD, Jess and other cast mates shared how he did go out and IRL what a confident sweet woman Chelsea is, I’m just happy the other side is out there now.

Problem with Chelsea is that MANY TIMES she made sense but mixed valid concerns/points with her insecurities and Jimmy turned the situation to the point she looks crazy. Okay this is my 3rd comment as I’m just finishing up this interview and have finally heard it all. I really do wish Chelsea the best and I think she is a decent person. I do wish she would do a little more reflection. Maybe even study herself through all these interviews and make adjustments as necessary. We don’t all get the priverlage to be our authentic selves on camera like she has. To keep saying you take responsibility for your actions and follow through with a “but…”, for example she said I get that it’s wrong to share Jimmys secret about sex with his friend when I told him I wouldn’t BUT…..That’s like saying I’m not racist but…..or I don’t mean to be rude but…..everyone knows whatever you said before the “BUT…” doesn’t count or you didn’t mean it. Also it’s a little delusional to get mad at the whole ordeal w/his ex, bring it up, justify your actions and then turn around and say you have a lot of guy friends including your ex who you f*cked also. If you think it’s that bad think about how your exes wife feels. You FaceTimed him after your honeymoon. Like how close are yall? What volume does that say about yall? Just some points to self examine on.

I respect your feedback. I wanted to address the bias. Most of my interviews are normally wellness, leadership, or self growth based focusing on positive spins to how they have gotten to where they are today. Being a friend, the portrayal of her really got to me because I had experienced passive aggressive men in the past and I could clearly see the edit from my years of podcasting and on-camera work. Also, I went into all of the FB groups to understand and ask the questions that I saw them constantly bring up. I wanted to start the conversation but I’m hoping interviewers like Nick Vials will continue the dialogue. Lastly, the fact that other cast mates like AD are confirming that IRL chelsea is a strong sweet woman tells me that the whole story wasn’t shown.

Halfway through the interview and I’m having so much trouble reconciling how incongruent Chelsea’s message is with what we saw. For example, she says she loved him, she said Jimmy was inconsistent and who he was off camera was different. So different that she made it seem like she could tell he was actually not his person. And yet on camera she was so ready to marry him. Okay, so what was it? Either Jimmy was who he portrayed himself out to be or not and she was crazy. It’s one or the other.

This podcast had a good sides and Chelsea does need a platform to explain her self, and I am glad to her this, but this is so biased. Not surprisingly, cause you are friends. No hard questions were asked nor perspectives challenged. And ganging up on Jimmy's friend "she inserted her self blah blah" so not cool. Regardless of everything, Chelsea was hard to watch whatever the trigger. She needs extreme support in handling her emotions when challenged. It was a great case study to watch of two incompatible people going against themselves.

When AD said how strong IRL Chelsea was and the footage confused her, people's ears started perking up. He's had many interviews already and I'm hopeful that Chelsea will get more too. They both to deserve to move on with their voices heard.

I've never seen your channel before, but I am SO grateful you gave Chelsea the opportunity to explain what was really going on. It was clear to me from the beginning that Jimmy was triggering her with his lies and manipulation, and how he basically drove her crazy by saying one thing and doing another. I dont know him, and I hope Chelsea doesn't take offense to my criticisms of him, but I really hope women can learn from this. When a woman behaves the way Chelsea did, there is a REASON for it. That doesn't make it the best way to behave, but people who are being mistreated should not be expected to behave well at all times. Any woman could fall victim to the dynamic Jimmy created with her.

I am with Chelsea on alot of points. Jimmy said all the words, but clearly didn't show actions. Jimmy lied when confronted about spinning AD around and saying " When did I say that?" Like he couldn't recall saying not to initiate intimacy with him, when he definitely said it. Jimmy did not love her and was not attracted to her at all. Chelsea is a very pretty woman. Just not his type. Chelsea felt all of these things, and became unhinged and looked nuts and desperate. She should have cut this thing off when she felt this way. His words and actions didn't match. But instead of either of them ending the torture for themselves and viewers, ( even though viewers love drama) they chose to drag this mess out til the end. Did they do it to stay on the show as long as possible? Perhaps.Jimmy I'm almost certain did. Maybe Chelsea was just hoping and praying his actions would begin to match his words and was delusionally hopeful.

I'm sorry, Chelsea is not a drinker? Her worst moments, in my own opinion, where when she was drinking! She loses all ability to regulate her emotions when under the influence. I don't mean that as a judgment, rather it's an observation.

She acknowledges that in the interview that it is was not the right time and never is to argue after drinking. In social situations she never goes overboard. These shows are really good at getting their contestants liquored up and lots of sleep depravation keeping them up late. Not an excuse...something that needs to be talked about and done better. They do this to prompt their talent to stir up drama.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he wasn’t showing much affection outside of the cameras. He seems very conscious over how he & his relationships are perceived, specifically when he was very uncomfortable with Chelsea saying “look at the strongest couple” and it wasn’t them. Like yeah you are having some arguments, you may not be the strongest couple. I also think Chelsea has that issue to some extent but in front of the camera she seemed to be pretty true to herself, letting all sides of her show. I wish we got to see all the clips from a 3rd party perspective but I can understand freaking out if someone is acting different on & off the camera, that would make me feel gaslighted. I really disliked the way she handled arguments but I wish we saw more of their relationship.

I wish we would've seen more of it too. Normally my interviews are more about wellness, personal development, & leadership but I love the feedback for future episodes I do with reality stars. What I had noticed was no one was getting deep with Chelsea and other castmates were getting to share their stories early on. I'm hoping our conversation is the start of other outlets picking her up. Her edit didn't do her justice. Even AD on the reunion said it was off.

Jimmy admitted he told Chelsea abt his bestie in the pods. He had zero clue if production would air that and “out” his friend or not. Then the friend outed herself at that lunch……literally everyone knew they had slept together after the things she said at the meetup. So Chelsea was the THIRD person to speak about it, and didn’t use her name. But yet, Chelsea gets 100% of the blame from Jimmy, and a lot of viewers. I think it’s BS. The friends *clearly* wanted to be on the show, and Jimmy *clearly* had them on the show to score “points” with the bestie he *clearly* wishes he could be with. He has the balls to still be mad at Chelsea for this when it’s 99.9% HIS actions that led to it!!

Chelsea keeps saying that jimmy is a great guy but from an outside perspective and hearing her side of the story, jimmy is a gaslighter and manipulative. I think Chelsea still struggles with the way she was portrayed (rightfully so) and a tell of that for me is the way she speaks highly of someone who quite frankly embarrassed her on TV while she was being her rawest self. She’s kind of telling us like don’t worry guys everything is fine I’m okay but I can see right thru that and I think she is still being manipulated now by him because he wants to remain good in everyone else’s eyes. Also jimmy touching her thigh like that at the reunion 😒 it was almost like he knows he’s manipulating her and just giving her reassurance that everything is fine and like “a reward” for not shit talking him or hating him at this point. Chelsea, you deserve the world. Stop dimming your light to let others shine.

My heart goes out to Chelsea. Totally disgusted by all the women that have the audacity to make harsh judgements about Chelsea... i saw through Jimmy from the begginning and whatever facade he was putting up. IMHO men having so many female friends is a red flag, a man who is actually ready to get married knows full well the responsibility of creating a safe space for him and his woman, and vice versa its red flag if women have too many guy friends and always keeping in touch... its not necessary. Trust me if you want a successful relationship you need to set boundaries and you need to prioritise your partner. There is a difference between a Partner and a friend or family members, if you want to get married you and your spouse need to put eachother first. Of course there can be compromise and you should be able to still have close friends and families but you know youre ready for marriage when you are ready to accept the fact that your spouse is FIRST.

The way Chelsea was portrayed and her whole ordeal on the show reminds me of an episode of How I Met Your Mother where Mike Tyson says: "Here's the thing about crazy. When a guy sends mixed signals to a girl, it takes a toll on her psychological well-being. You wanna know why a girl acts crazy? Look at the guy she's dating. Then you'll really see some crazy." I feel like this is more often the case than not.

I knew Jimmy was manipulative from day one, I never liked how he spoke to the women in the pods, his facial expressions/body language (which obvi they didn’t see in the pods.) To me, Chelsea came off pretty upfront about her perspective/concerns and Jimmy just brushed her off. The way that Chelsea is taking the internet bullying in stride is so inspiring. She seems to know who she is and not let peoples’ misinterpretation get to her. Goals.

This has given me so much clarity on Chelsea! I feel horrible for ever viewing her otherwise. This season of LIB is the first time I’ve ever watched a reality television show and while I’m not dumb and knew that it’s entertainment, not all based on facts, etc, I’m appalled at how they’ve taken snippets of life and edited them to make people look like things they aren’t. This interview alone changes my entire perspective! I need an interview like this for each of them! 🤣 Also, the fact that almost every man there had something dumb to say about how fast it was all going makes me want to scream. It’s not like they didn’t know how the show works, the timeline, etc. If they didn’t think moving that fast was for them then why did they agree to be on the show?

While I understand why you were automatically on her side, a little devils advocate is always good. I feel this had so much potential. I still enjoyed it and watched it all the way through. @@kiahvanhorn6169 nah, the internet has straight up just been mean to this woman and assumed they know how the whole story. Playing devils advocate is different than what the internet is doing. I wanted Chelsea's side, but I guess I also wanted someone to ask the harder questions. Maybe not someone that just said yeah it was all jimmys fault. to me as a viewer it just felt a little biased. I personally am not a fan of jimmy, I think Chelsea's the real gem but they both had their faults. I can empathize with both though. Again, I watched all of it and enjoyed it I just felt it was very one sided, and I'm not a black and white kind of person. There's a lot of gray.
