All are dangerous in their own ways, but Jeremy and Matthew gave me the "stranger-danger" vibes.

Oddly, I'm not surprised that Jeramy is capable of this... his poor ex gf, you could see how traumatizing this was for her and how she relived the experience in sharing what he did to her. My heart breaks for her, good on her for having the courage to share this. LIB is really dropping the ball on their screening process, scary how dangerous and sketchy some of these guys are. As Grace points out, this is an accurate reflection of the danger women face in the dating world today, it's a gamble between meeting the love of your life or the end of it.

Wow. I understand the notion that they didn’t screen some of these men, but to act as though there haven’t been dangerous women on the show. Do we really think that Season 4 Chelsea wasn’t a manipulator and dangerous? How about Zanab and her level of toxicity. She literally created an entire abusive story about how Cole body shamed her and didn’t want her eating even a single piece of fruit or something… entirely destroying his reputation amongst the cast and nearly amongst the world until video evidence via the “cuties” scene clearly showed an entirely different scenario. So sure if you want to paint this as a systemic issue, cool. But to act like it’s just the male cast members is a hella privileged perspective. And no I’m not comparing Zanab to this women’s story of Jeramy, but still this is a systemic issue with casting, not some targeted effort where only women have to be concerned. It IS a reality tv show, it was never going to be a “safe space” to find love. It was always about either having enough desperation to join the experiment or enough narcissism to enjoy the idea of the attention that would go their way after potentially being on tv. And either trait in high enough doses is likely to recruit some nefarious, and potentially diabolic persons to the fray. Just saying.

So if his girlfriend is out after work he embarrasses her and drags her home ( like she’s a possession). Yet he can stay out until 5am with another woman and can’t understand why his fiancée would be upset. The ex stated she left and went to stay with his family because his behavior made her so uncomfortable. Yet, when he suggested a move away from everyone, she agreed. Ladies we have to do better. Why allow someone to isolate you, especially when the red flags are waving at you? His stepmother protected you the first time. What was your plan when you agreed to be out in Timbuktu alone with him? Dude had guns hidden everywhere. That’s scary.

I've been in a similar relationship (thankfully it never escalated that far)but as soon as isaw jeramy I said "I don't like this guy, I don't know what it is but he gives me a horrible feeling" and that feeling only grew. Seems like he may have some dark triad mental illness going on.

Truly, the Houston stuff is dangerous and now that they didn’t even fix it for the next series, this is getting unacceptable and they should be held liable.

It's impossible to diagnose someone from afar. But this sounds ALOT like behavior someone with BPD/CPTSD exhibits. Not that everyone with BPD becomes violent, but just the immense triggering from jealousy aka perceived threat of abandonment. And the way that changes someone with BPDs mood extremely quickly and in ways you wouldn't ever expect from them. The zero to 100 type behavior. (this is coming from someone who has BPD/CPTSD and is in recovery).

I’m glad to hear someone else finally say this because I have noticed a very obvious pattern of toxic men in this show but the show seems to protect them in the way the show is edited and it’s a red flag of the people who are creating the show. Toxic men often play the victim, and that’s what I am also seeing them do on the show, is portray the predatory man as somehow being the victim or even a good guy… it’s like they’re trying to gaslight their viewers. It also explains how Vanessa and Nick have been a part of the show this entire time, even though the viewers don’t like them.
