Toramana is probably the most important Hun ruler that ruled parts of India. In this video, I will talk about how the end of this Alchon ruler happened.

Correction - At 3:59, it is a peacock that is depicted, not a Garud. Apologies for the mistake.

Tormaan is like the Philip II of macedon in many regards. Phillip also tried to portray himself as a greek. Philip also conquered much of hellenic society which became base for Alexander to move beyond.

The diff is Tormama was only abt to do that for a short time due to many factors and was finally defeated..

In terms of choronological events then yes. But the difference is Philip is already a Greek, much more diplomatic and had successor as great as him (or even better than him)!

Can you explain how the western part of the Indian subcontinent(today's pak&afgan regions) fall faster to the Arabic, Turkish invasions? Why they were easily converted to islam? Why didn't they have a strong kingdom/empire there to defend the subcontinent? Can you point out those his

That's half truth because Rajput clans of Guhils and Pratiharas defeated further arab invasions after their conquest of sindh and multan. Also after the death of mahmud of ghazni ,his successors invasions and raids were both checked and repulsed by Chauhans and Gahadavals Rajputs.

Fall fast as compared to what? As compared to Sassanian Empire or Sindh, eastern Afghanistan and parts of Pakistan were under central asian non islamic Turk Shahi till 822. Then under Hindu Shahi dynasty till 1026. Hindu Sahi ruled Kabul till 962. Ghor was islamized around 1011-20. Lalitaditya of Karkota dynasty ruled and defended his kingdom of Kashmir, Northern Pakistan and Western Afghanistan. Later Lohara dynasty ruled in Kashmir till 1320 afterwards it came under Shah Mir Dynasty.
