contrast Kylies recent stick blush drop with Haileys blushes....I didn't even realize Kylies blushes dropped and I only ever saw her and paid influents talk about them. no one even paid attention to them. Haileys blushes haven't even launched yet and theyre already extremely popular, all over the internet and regular people are already saying theyre going to purchase them (im considering buying as well). the difference is really stark especially cause these two brands have pretty much the same target audience. Kylie needs to take a page from Haileys book!

Not seeming interested. I don’t think she really cares about her brand anymore. She no longer seems passionate and if she is she’s doing a bad job of selling that to her consumers. 4. @@fmalovegirl98I know! I was even covering the kardashians in 2019 and I don’t remember anything about that collab 😅 it’s kinda crazy how much the brand fell off from 2016

Even though they are losing popularity they have the money and power to continuously insert themselves in every store, show, runway and billboard. They continue to create this illusion that they are everything. There are so many other brands and beautiful people.

Just came on here to say I was at the DFW airport yesterday and her makeup was in a literal VENDING MACHINE???? I may be late to the party but I feel like that's not normal for a "successful" brand??
@danielucha13104 ай бұрын
Not normal. In fact, I know a girl from the DFW staff that told me said vending machine is there untouched, has been for a while. God forbid if the products are expired or something..

The problem with Kylie Cosmetics in my opinion was the quality they had something no one had before a market before a product launch. And the fact that they are ending up on target is just not news to me. They are just trash brand product. I hope that they go out of business. I just think that it’s too late for some people to get to target and that’s Kylie Cosmetics.

I know it’s different in the US but here in Mexico Kylie cosmetics it’s almost always sold out in Sephora. We also don’t have color pop… or indie brands like those so we just grab what we can

I think part of the reason for the flop is that Kylie Cosmetics used to SET the trends. Now they’re just following.

Cosmic is a nice fragrance, though. Coty should rebrand the cosmetics line as Kylie for Coty and put it in the drugstores where it belongs. As an aside, my order of Cosmic arrived today with a free full size matte lip pencil, a full size bottle of clarifying cleansing gel, and a half dozen samples. I'm not unimpressed by that, as well as the order packaging and shipping speed. Honestly, it makes me want to think twice about the brand. 🤔

"Flop era" is so funny lol I never really understood the whole appeal of them from the get-go. None of them have any talent, humility, do anything for their communities or make the world a little better. I don't get it and I am glad other people are also seeing it. The only celebrity beauty brands I like are Fenty and Rare Beauty. I have never had a product from either one of those lines that I didn't absolutely love and repurchase. I know I'm not really the demographic for Kylie Cosmetics, but I remember a friend of mine letting me try one of her eyeshadow palettes YEARS ago and it was awful. I think it was the one people did videos about. I think it was released in, like, 2018? I don't remember what it was called, just that it was really bad lol

10:00 I always thought that shot of Kylie with pink hair and a filter was inside a parked car. Now I realize she’s driving, holding her phone and not even paying attention to the road. What a NARCISSIST! No way I would ever give these people my money voluntarily!

I feel like the change in the way it is marketed hasn't helped either. Thinking back to 2016-18 and the Snap Story reveals of new collections, they were about full glam and had a really defined brand (thinking of the summer palette, chill baby, sipping pretty, and ESPECIALLY eye of the storm). the products were fun and exciting, but the quality wasn't always there, which is why now that it's gone all ~clean girl~ to fit with the times, it doesn't keep up with other brands

Their years and years of reputation have caught up to them. You can't sell average to subpar clothes and products for years and just keep buying positive reviews online. Personal negative buyer experiences are strong. I have seen people rave in the comments about kims bras but my personal experience of my friend asking me if I wanted it after being disappointed by it and seeing how bad it looked both off and on me is the only thing guiding my consumer choices. I don't care if everyone and their mom say how great kylies clothes are, all I will remember is working at ardene during the kylie and kendall collab and how everything went to the 75% off bin within 3 months. The fact that they even got this far after all their mishaps is incredible.

One of the few good things about all the celebrity brands is that it pushed the drugstore brands to be more creative. Now that they are at the same level (and sometimes better) than celebrity/high end makeup, who would want to pay more for the same type of thing?
@da80835 ай бұрын
I feel like brands need to do something a little innovative to go viral these days. That’s what Kylie needs. Every company sells these products already…either update the formula and make something revolutionary or do something functional and cool with the packaging…even chatGPT can give you better suggestions these days 🙄
@kate39304 ай бұрын
My theory is that since society no longer idolizes celebrities as much as we used to, we don’t have the desire to purchase their products as much. Unless the brand is good quality and worth purchasing, the brand’s popularity is not what it used to be. The vast majority of society searches for economical options, not overpriced name brands.
@Lanagotsnubed5 ай бұрын
Look i think kylie cosmetics has some great products like the mascara lip glosses and lip sticks the concealer some lipliners (the wood ones ) and the butter gloss also her setting powder is so good but the problem is that the brand is tied with the influencer/celebrity (Kylie Jenner) and its tied to her controversies which means that if kylie is cancelled for some time her brand also is . Also she hasn’t let go of that pink packaging which has been in the brand for a long time , now im not saying to get rid of all the pink packaging but only some of it also the releases of so many products in such a short time isn’t beneficiary for the brand . but oh well that is my opinion 🫣🤭
@JIYASINGH145 ай бұрын
I also think that one of the many reasons that this brand is collapsing is the quality of their products. I remember I watched many reviews of their products by my trusty youtubers and all of them said that the quality sucks and it not by any means justifies the absurd cost of these products. I think if she had focused more on the quality and reputation of the brand it may have not gotten this bad.
@u.p.n12035 ай бұрын
To be honest because of their family dramas I never believed their products. I have never purchased any product from kylie cosmetics or anything because I don't feel they are genuine. Instead of quality of their products they try to seel their products using their famous. There amazing brands out there even in drugstore. So why?
@sarahshearman92275 ай бұрын
I simply don't buy KK because why would I want to be poorer on an over priced product to make a billionaire richer? You could say that about any millionaire pound beauty brand to be honest, but personally I try to buy from smaller/indie brands where I can, and companies who have an environmental plan that actually do good for the community and donate proceeds to a charity. Where the Kardashians/Jenners donations going?🤔
