Omgosh Omgosh finally finally a preacher who sees there is NO rapture!! I've been saying this for quite a while & at one time i believed it but as i pondered it- it made no sense and it was not proven out in the bible that i could ever see!! TYTYTY Jesus and Voddie! You may be the only preacher on planet earth that has this opinion..... and this was such a wonderful message that i found i was holding my breath while you finished certain sentences.... I won't try to convince you however the pre trib view is false on many many counts. Too manty to mention here. Christ comes back once not twice John 5-28,29 The pre trib view started around 1830 and was not mentioned at all in history in the early church reformers puritans and others. No mention. The scriptures are so clear about this Go to North Ave Church and listen to Mark and Greg talk about this in depth verse by verse and if you are not convinced then I can't help you. The pri trib view is held by many and these are men of God! But in this they are wrong. Voddie does a great job as well explaining the timing of the end and all its events. @@TheYellowTortuga

I've listened to several sermons from Voddie now, and I'm always pleasantly surprised by the insight he offers. However, though I realize that pastors and preachers often take snippets of scripture out of context to get their points across as he points out, I don't understand the one-rapture idea. I've been listening in pieces, and haven't gotten to the end yet (now at the 30:50 mark), so maybe he discusses my concerns after this point. I would think the argument against the "secret" rapture would need to address the passages where it's said that the Lord's return will be "like a thief in the night", where people don't generally expect Him, essentially like a secret. If there's only one rapture at the end, then a timeline for Jesus' return will be known by everyone who's read that the Great Tribulation lasts for a total of 7 years, along with the other timeline markers like the Abomination of Desolation. The time for these things are only unknown before the beginning of the Tribulation. Once it starts, the return of Jesus won't be like a thief in the night. People will be watching for him.

Yes! Thank you! The very beginning of Daniel 12 says we will be rescued and I just cannot see that meaning he’ll rescue us at the END of the tribulation. That would hardly be a rescuing, as most of God’s people would probably be killed by the end anyways. The thief in the night verse is proof enough for me that it will occur before the tribulation.

Like most who came to christ in the early 1970’s I heard all about the rapture. But, after studying scripture over and over I saw that there is not one mention of a pre trib rapture. And just the opposite there are many places in scripture that tell us that the return of Jesus is at the end of the age or the last day. I believe this false rapture doctrine is popular because false teachers have been telling the church things that tickle their ears! Because if you truly study scripture the way you need to you would never find a pre trib rapture in the bible.

Thank y'all; this helps explain and codify some things I've been working on figuring out. It's easy to forget the important roles that angels play in the realm of things. Mention of the trumpet call for the angels to come get us is going to be a heck of a busy time, and merely is another confirmation to me that the 7th trumpet shall be that very trumpet call [Rev 10:7; I Cor 15:50-54] when the door to salvation closes. Thusly, we would be yet here through the opening of the inheriting of the deed (7-sealed scroll), and the prior warning trumpets... perhaps akin to warning blasts of a ship about to put away gangway and leave port. I was mostly pre-trib [although things about it didn't make full sense] until just a couple of years ago when watching a series on Rev and considering what was told there in relation to the times I had read through it. I get bothered and concerned because there are so many Christians who're dead set under no uncertain terms of their own, that we shall not be here for any of the seal/trumpet "bad stuff"; the bowls shall not be ours for the cup of indignation was freed from us by Jesus' works. When the 3rd temple gets built, the AC steps on stage and the disasters start occurring, I worry many start questioning God or their standing with Him; it'll be a true test of faith. I pray wisdom shall come, and that the Holy Spirit keep fear from us all from here onward and that we bamfoozle the world with fierce boldness they can't comprehend despite all the opposition and oppression. For as long as we are here, we have a hope to share to those who find no trust or solace in a world run by dark powers and principalities.

Being good won't save you which is why He gave His life and took your punishment so you could put on His Righteousness and be redeemed to God our Father. He made a way. Looks up Romans 10:9-10. @@song4night what is your interpretation of 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. Heaven and earth come together in Jesus. The goal has never been to get into heaven but to receive the kingdom, this is why the resurrection is important. There is an aspect of the kingdom that can only be experienced once we receive our resurrected bodies. See 1 Corinthians 15:20-57.

@@cmbsr4851 Hello. There is MUCH too learn, but you may want to start in the 4 gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John; they are a good place to start. Genesis will help you understand creation and the early days of Earth, and my personal favorite is Revelation because it relates to matters yet to come (as does Daniel and Isaiah). We tend to have our own gauge of the "goodness" of one another, but it's important to know that when it comes to our standing with God, none of us are "good". We are all subject to sin and fall short in His Kingdom. This is why faith in salvation through Jesus is so important, as it is the only way which we are saved.

Being reborn is literal and means receiving His Holy Holy Holy spirit (ghost) literally IN YOUR OWN Flesh. Believe in Him and receive Him. Seek and you shall find. @ 15:30 he asks, “is that every ethnic Jew?” “Absolutely not”… This issue is that he has a shallow view of the Old Testament and Zechariah 12? Which states that 2/3 of Israel will be cut off and 1/3 will be purified. The spirt of grace and supplication shall be poured out on ALL those Jew and thus shall be fulfilled, ALL Israel will be saved and you shall not see me again until you say blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. He does not rightly divide the church and Israel. My humble opinion.

Hi Pastor Bauchman My husband and I agree with this message. I am lead to ask you to look into those 45 days you mentioned you had no clue of. The book of Revelation mentions the “trumpets” and “a sign in the heavens of a woman and child”. These signs are significant and true to the Fall Festivals of the Lord. (not festivals of the Jews as some may call them). The Lord commanded His people to celebrate these 7 Festivals of Leviticus 23; and of which Jesus has fulfilled 4; during his death, resurrection, and sending us the comforter (the Holy Spirit). The 3 Festivals left to fulfill are the Fall Festivals, of which He will fulfill on His return. 1. The Feast of Trumpets (aka Rosh HaShanah & “Yom Teruah”) 2. The Day of Atonement ( aka: Yom Kippur & The FAST & Judgement day) & 3. The Festival of Tabernacles (aka: “Sukkot” and the Wedding) The 45 days are: 30 days of “Teshuvah”Hebrew for Repentance. It’s 30 days prior to Feast of Trumpets. 10 Days of Awe: begin at sunset on The Feast of Trumpets and closes with “The Fast” of the Book of Acts; the Day of Atonement. 5 days from the “Fast” to Feast of Tabernacles; when Judgement shall be passed. “Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.” ‭‭Daniel‬ ‭12‬:‭12‬ ‭ Also if interested: My husband Tim has a couple of articles written in Quora.com on the Beasts of Revelation

It’s to “my” understanding that the bride of Christ is taken out, then the man of lawlessness is revealed to make his covenant of 7 years (after the Restrainer is removed). It’s is during this time that the marriage supper of the lamb is taking place in heaven. THEN Jesus returns to earth on His white horse with all the angels and saints and does battle with the anti christ and his forces at Armageddon and sets up His 1000 year reign. After that, Satan is loosed for a season then the white throne judgment takes place. Am I in error? He has not appointed us to wrath. There is a difference between tribulation and the GREAT Tribulation. The time, times and half a time refers to the first 3.5 years after the treaty with the anti Christ is confirmed. After that he turns on Israel and wages war.

It’s the Rapture. The Church is the restrainer. There is no secret Rapture, that’s correct. There is no secret to the Rapture, it’s clearly stated. The second coming Is the Lord touching his feet down on this Earth. The Rapture is our meeting in the air. Does it really make sense for the bridegroom to let his bride be beaten for several years before he rescues her? The church has suffered tribulation for over 2000 years, God clearly states we will be rescued from the time of Jacobs trouble which is to say the Tribulation of Israel. There is no mention of the church after Rev chap 3 until Rev 19 for a reason. Although Rev may not be chronologically written, the Judgment placed on Earth by God gives no mention to the church. I would imagine that God would give more insight to the church in regards to the tribulation if his bride were to endure this period. When the Lord returns for Armageddon with his saints to rescue Israel, who and where did those saints come from? According to this belief of no Rapture, we are to believe that we go up then we turn immediately around and come back down for Armageddon. The Rapture isn’t a matter of salvation, thank the Lord, but to believe there is no Rapture is beyond my understanding of the word I read in my Bible. I could go on about how there are foreshadowing of the Rapture with Enoch walking with God, then was not, as we well know the Bible reinforces its word all throughout the book, Old and New Testament. Just as Isaiah 60 and beyond shows foreshadowing of Jesus. If I am understanding Brother Voddie correctly, it seems this sermon preaches soul sleep. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I don’t understand this obsession and frankly anger at the idea of the Rapture by some preachers. I agree with Brother Voddie on 99% of what I hear from him, we just have to agree to disagree on this point of the Rapture. God be with us all.

I think Vodie is wrong on this. It clearly says that from the time the sacrifices were taken away. Well, in Daniel 9 that clearly seems to be when Christ was crucified. What us thoroughly confusing about thus passage though is it also seems to refer to AD70 and a time if trouble like there never has been before. Pretty sure that is AD70 and God's judgment upon apostate Israel.

@truth7416 To help explain the difficulties of Predestination, or Determination, as taught by Calvinists, get the book written by John Lennox titled "Determined to Believe." Herein John takes a good hard look at the teaching of predestination from the beginning of creation, to what theists and atheists believe. Then he looks at the main predestination scriptures passages such as Romans 9; Eph 1; and breaks them down to better explain the true meaning. John Lennox supports the view of man being created with free will, the free will to choose God through faith, and the free will to reject God. This is how God created Adam and Eve, they had free will to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. It is a good read but will take some discipline to stay the course. Does "at that time" mean AFTER tribulation or when it starts getting really bad (worse than throughout history)? Is not The Tribulation God's wrath poured down on the ungodly? Why would His forgiven people be part of the punishment of the ungodly? This is different than persecution for Jesus' name's sake, which has happened (& is promised to occur) to God's people throughout history...

God does not pass judgement like humans do. Bible verses have a much deeper meaning then to be taken literally. God’s judgement comes through the Creators’ design that is built to sustain life, truth and love, demonstrated through Christ. Being the opposite of the character of Christ brings forth the eternal death. The design law of God judges and condemns. The Book of Life with written names is a symbolic. Names is the symbol for character. The Book of Life symbolizes a person’s struggle to overcame sin to become Christ like character. The Book of Life is cherished and valued because it shows how surrendering to Christ heals and bonds us to Him. The memories of that struggle remains with us forever giving greater value to what Christ did for us. It’s all a very loving and endearing story if understand it.

1 Thessalonians 5:9 speaks to the Church (The Bride) isn't appointed to God's wrath, which is the Tribulation, and the Tribulation is for Israel (Jewish individuals) & the unbelieveing Gentiles. Also the Church isn't mentioned in the Bible past Revelation Chapter 4 (Raptured) So according to this teaching our God is going to let his Bride who he loves very much and He went to great lengths to prepare a place for us the Church (John 14:1-4) 2000 years ago, is then going to allow for her to be beat up by going through the Tribulation and then He'll marry her? and after right after that we all coming back with Christ in the 2nd coming. Please remember Ephesians 1:13 the Bible says God's people are sealed with the Holy Spirit.

You are very correct about the pre-trib rapture. The scriptures in 1st Thessalonians is part of the puzzle of revelation about what will happen to his elect, his chosen ones. Also in Daniel, Revelation and in Matthew 24 at the last Trumpet he sends out his angels to the four parts of the world to gather his elect. So when you put the pieces together it says that he sends his angels to gather his elect to meet him in the air. THAT IS THE RAPTURE. At the very end. After the last Trumpet. Those who teach the pre-trib rapture are guilty of tickling the ears of the believers. They are deceiving the church and I think Yahweh wanted this to happen to test the true remnant. Those who are not wise will not understand as is stated in Daniel 12. Those who don't understand will take on the mark of the beast. These ones will be like the foolish virgins. However, His remnant or his elect or his chosen ones will not go through the tribulation. There are scriptures everywhere that say they will be placed in refuges around the world but the main one in Edom. The one in Edom is the one where he returns as described in Is: 63. So, he returns to Edom to rescue his remnant from being destroyed by evil armies. His angels are sent to gather all his remnant to this place. These will not go through the tribulation but are the ones being raptured to meet him in the air at Edom. Blessings.

Go to rev 14 and see if taking this literal holds water that these are 144,000 literal ethic Jews. Try to literalize it, you can't. "These are they which were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. They follow the lamb where ever he goes. In their mouths were found not guile. Stop there. No can we honestly say that these "Jewish men" were all virgins never defiled with a women, or course not! It is symbolic language to indicate purity. The ones who follow the lamb are his people including Jews. This is the Israel of God all followers of JC who are the saved. Also is the name of their God LITERALLY written on their forehead? Of course not it is symbolic as most of Revelation is. Word pictures to reveal what God is saying to his own people. The list of Tribes in Rev 7 are not all the tribes listed in the OT either you'll notice. Dan is also omitted. Joseph and Manasseh are included interestingly. The list suggests a symbolic meaning. Careful how you interpret the book or Revelation is it mostly symbolic with word pictures pointing to a spiritual conclusion. However where there is literal passages they are to be taken literal. The truth is that God tells us to worship Him in the spirit, and not in the flesh in our "worship Houses" made by hands. Philippians 3:3 says to "have no confidence worshipping in the flesh," so just why are we worshipping in the flesh? The churches that Paul started were in people's homes for the fellowship (not worship) of members of the "body of Christ. FELLOWSHIP HOUSES - NOT WORSHIP HOUSES It is so simple people - but Satan is so crafty. Satan has blinded the eyes of those who do not follow the commandment of II Timothy 2:15. II Timothy 2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." I am very ashamed for being deceived by Satan for almost all of my life. I want for you to know the truth of how to worship God as He tells us to worship Him. We cannot truly worship God in any assembly, because he tells us to worship Him spiritually! So, who are we truly worshiping at our assemblies? That is the age-old question. We all need to wake up and start studying our Bibles. Don't trust me - don't trust anyone - only trust the word of God. Study to find the truth.

The elect will suffer under the tribulation just as the unbelievers will. Just as the saved & the unsaved suffer the same things in this day and age. Famine, diseases, violence, earthquakes, storms etc we as the children of God are not immune to the difficulties of this life, just as we’ll not be in the tribulation. If the church is caught up in some sort of rapture who then is Satan going to persecute? After all it will only be the unbelievers that will be left who love darkness rather that light because their dead’s were evil.

Are the saints of today better or more blessed than those who were used as street lamps after being set on fire by the Romans? How about the men, women, and children that were placed in the coliseum just before the lions were released for Roman entertainment? Are we more special than them? It is said that many lifted up their voices in praise of God or sang songs of worship and praise until their souls left their bodies while the fire and the wild lions consumed their flesh. Brethern, be not deceived into thinking all believers will escape the times that lay ahead. For in so doing, many will deny Christ Jesus and turn on their own family members, thinking the gospel is false. And all because they bought into the lie of the pre-trib rapture. Many of you like the idea of being taken before such aweful things and that's understandable, but many of you also know in your heart that you will have to one day prove whom you serve for having such easy lives and doing little for the needy during your lives having little faith. Remember, God did not spare his own son but allowed him to suffer and die on the cross. Glory to God the father and the Son for what they did for us all!
