I'm sorry to hear about it Trevor. And I wish KZbin could see this full in-depth video because I was one of the many editors affected by this decision. I even had a video in the works that was to be due this week. It will be "The Complete History of UHF" which contains lots of fun original insights by Trevor regarding the actors, crew-mates, and drama in the creation of the Weird Al movie. I even bought the Blu-Ray, split up the clips in a way that it doesn't dominate the video, and did a ton of research on top of Trevor's research to make that video happen. I''ll still finish the video this week, but there's no gurantee that the video would come out unless KZbin changes their minds over it. So I will pray that things will change. It's astonishing why KZbin does this. I hate the "reused content" rule, it affects literally everyone besides people like SSSniperwolf or tons of low-quality commentary/reaction/AI-generated channels... y'know the type of people YT promised to take down? like KZbin will punish you financially if you stray even remotely away from your usual video format or release schedule... but then will strike you down if your content is even remotely similar to someone else's video or a previous video even slightly similar than your current video. This platform is such a joke now, and we can't do anything about it. There's no competition viable enough to move away from KZbin, mainly thanks to Google's monopoly. Vimeo became a job portfolio website, BitChute became an actual hate-infested mess, Nico Nico Douga cut its support for North America, Dailymotion became The Pirate Bay for lazy people, and Rumble is still barely a functional site. The only way to fight against YT is using Twitter to argue against -an unresponsive bot- KZbin Support, but even that barely works most of the time. I doubt things will change, but hey, maybe you'll get lucky enough to get your channel back in track when Half-Life 3 comes out. Good luck, mate. there is this channel, "used to be innocent" i think they're called, they upload unedited episodes of moral oral. though i dont know the ins and outs of that channel, i can assume that theyre making some kind of money. the videos arent even flipped or color changed or anything, its just the episodes unedited in any way. somehow theyre fine where you and your team arent. im sorry to see this happen to you; shot in the head because you caused to much joy. unfortunately i dont have twitter or any social media outside of tumblr and youtube, so i can do jack-diddly about any of this. I hate how arbitrary their rules were thwt smaller channels get punished harshly while bigger ones, even when they're caught committing crimes, get a slap on the wrist
