@dylanmccallister18884 ай бұрын
@@glorentzen there was nothing on the seat though. It beeped because somebody did sit in that seat then got up to a different one. So it decided to go off with no weight there. Which means to me, every seat that is ever sat in since the car was turned on will think somebody is in it. Imagine giving people rides, they leave, now you have to buckle all their seats to shut the car up before you go. Thats a classic gm moment

You can tell that even Mr. Reuss was a bit stoic at first, perhaps unsure of what direction the chat would go. It didnt take long for him to become engaged and really start to enjoy the conversation! Job well done on this one. I realized that it's kind of his job, but it's cool to see a president that's so in touch with not only regular people, but car enthusiasts as well. This truck just rocks, I need another EV but one that can tow an RV and do it well, we had a person on BC's Sunshine Coast that bought the W4 trim and used it to tow his RV and it was fantastic was his experience. The trucks regen capacity is the best in class so going over those high mountain passes in BC and Alberta you regain 80% of your energy it took to go up the grade. Why would I buy a Tesla Model X for the same price I can buy the Silverado RST EV and the icing on the cake I do not need to bring my noisy generator to my Provincial Camp ground. I can camp & drive wisper quiet, Koodoos to you Mark for such an excellent product. Our Sunshine GM has one on order and as soon as it comes in it's off to the dealer to quite possibly buy my 5th EV. yes since my 2019 Kai Soul EV, to our Current 2020 Kia Soul EV and Tesla Model Y Long Range AWD, I would never go back to ICE.

There was a dark time for GM when they made boring vehicles and killed off the "fun" brands like Saab and Pontiac (though to be fair, the 08 economic crisis certainly didn't help). However my opinion on GM has been slowly turning around. The Buick Envista was a genuine attempt to turn a declining brand around and the strategy to focus on tech and comfort at affordable pricing definitely caught people's attention. I'm always going to be skeptical of big corpo but it seems like GM has realised that delivering fun and competitive products helps them as much as it helps consumers.
